Sadly my plans involve money, since this one involves proxies and reusing models in different armies it will save money and be more likely to occur. I am also at 2000 points for my slaves to darkness and have promised to only revisit it only once my Ogors are done (which is actually taking less time than I expected). But otherwise you are right I have more ideas than motivation 😅

"More ideas than motivation" just sums me up so well!

  2. I did enjoy the Dominion novel. I found the scene in the abandoned tower gave me some proper chills.

I hold up Spear of Shadows as my favourite Black Library novel. Josh Reynolds' take on the Mortal Realms is just perfect IMO. It's crazy settings, gods and warfare, but without being overly dark and serious in tone. I find a lot of BL fiction to just be needlessly bleak - Reynolds keeps it fun.

Black Pyramid and Dark Harvest are also favourites. They are some of the few BL novels that I have read more than once.

I am yet to read Hamilcar but it's on the list.

    It really is.

yet i personally enjoy the company of some other players interested in taking part in a campaign.

Oh don't get me wrong, I would love to be in a proper organised campaign, but between having a young family and doing shift work I don't much get the chance other than the odd Wednesday every couple of months...

  4. For May I fully completed Khagra's Ravagers and I'm quite happy with them. I'm going to take a break from Chaos now and move on to a planned 1000pt Soulblight army featuring Prince Vhordrai, 2x5 Blood Knights and a unit of Vargheists.

I didnt quite get the Crimson Court finished but I'll get to them, eventually...

Anyway, pledge for June is Vhordrai on his Zombie Dragon and 5 Blood Knights!

Just over 6 hours to the reveal of this Gargant/Troggoth/Ogor!!

I'm not sure if I'm more excited for a new Mancrusher model or an Ogor Gorger!! Regardless I like big lads and I cannot lie.

Me I'm just keen to see if the rumoured Stormcast drake-cav materialises...

I wonder if the picture at the bottom of the AoS 3 article offers clues to the next battletomes. Just happy to see Khorghos Khul still kicking around, maybe he'll win one this time!

Poor Khorghos is AoS's Arbaal the "Undefeated" 😅

For tonight's reveal I'm hoping for the Underworlds Idoneth Warband, a couple Warcry Warbands and some LOTR.

I would love to see some refreshed troops for LotR. All the new hero sculpts have been cool.

Radukar is the standout for me but that "now who might be building those?" line has got me pretty excited. I am falling into the classic GW trap of getting wrapped up in one (potentially meaningless) little line of text and reading way too much into it. It's not normally something I do. I'm enjoying it. :).

So much damage done with so few words, GW.

That's what we do here 🤣 Silent People, anyone?
