The article said 5 wounds apiece, which is nothing to sneeze at. The real question will be how good their save is. My guess is that between the beetle shell and the shield they'll have a 4+, which is quite respectable but would keep them from becoming egregious.
Does it matter what the save is if they are immune to shooting in woods and can teleport after fighting first?

Looks kinda Slaanesh to me. The glove with the round metal studs is very similar to what you see in their range.

What's the deal with Kurnothi? They got a warband 3 years ago, are mentioned in lore semi often and a short story recently.
Kurnothi Vs New BoC at the end of 3rd maybe.

I wouldn’t agree with that there quite a few sus units in IDK tome like Levadons (which is a shame sense they where good last book with BR)
I don't think Leviadons are sus tbh. You can get a lot of mileage out of one in Nautilar and hunters of the Heartlands. They are just a bit swingy damage wise (so I have moved away) and tend to either be unkillable or very easy to deal with depending on your mortal wound output.
Anyway off topic, but I think they are viable.

The IDK book is 1000 times better than the 1.0 one.
Do you know how much list diversity there is considering we are one of the smallest factions model wise?
There isn't a bad unit in the book. Some are better maybe, some overcosted slightly but nothing is bad.
I'd rather have a 30% win rate with this book than a 70% one with eel spam.

Tell us about the treelord ancient!
You mean Durthu?

Skaven is a big ctrl + c / ctrl + v. That said I do think overall they will be fine. It's not an army I know much about ever since plague monk spam went away.

Some sylvaneth stuffs
The dragonflies move really fast and hit like a truck. They are a bit fragile so you want to use the teleport ability to help protect them.
Kurnoth hunters are great, all types.
Woods still have some stuff with Los blocking and owning the actual kit is still beneficial Vs just using the overgrown rule.
Tree revs can still deepstrike.
The whole philosophy is to make the sylvaneth a lot more dynamic rather than just sitting in the woods. Think skirmishers that attack fast and then vanish.
Skaven
I don't really know or care much, but die hard players should be happy.
GHB
Nighthaunt and DoK are going to really benefit. Don't be surprised if BoC continue to rise to the top too.
There aren't really any big losers, but a lot of those monsters that were borderline inclusions in lists might drop out.
Horrifying realisation bonus
IDK exist just to stop the shooting meta ever becoming too powerful. Because if a gun line army starts to go above 60% then IDK will rise up to counter them.

Remember when eels were really good?
Imagine eels but they can teleport away after they fight.
So excited for sylvaneth!

Is sentinel spam that good? No, but it is still fairly viable and incredibly dull for the game. They cover the entire board, can hit anything they want and require no skill to do so.
The new book is going to shake up Lumineth and hopefully we see some more interesting and diverse builds.
Flies are going up in points and we could see some new units, including for older books, be added to priority targets.

Can you give a source? Also Whitefang liked this, so... Oh my god, it can't be true, right? All the salt that TGA will produce will bathe this forum in glorious, crystaline white..
Can't really give a source, but I'm 100% satisfied it's true.
I don't think there is any point being salty about it. It's not a big new wave of models, mostly just tidying some stuff up like mortal wound spam and fox moves. Also simplified rules in line with aos 3 because Lumineth are pretty messy in that regard.
Sylvaneth is the exciting book in my opinion. They are going to be good and also move away from the reliance on wyldwoods that we've seen since aos 1. Basically just a cool army that will be able to compete in every phase of the game.

Yeah, some rumor mongers put “Sylvaneth coming and will make controversy 👀” which can be interpreted in an endless number of ways or just blatant click bait.
I hope it’s controversial though on the level of Ossiarch noses, Alarith cow aelves and vampire-drake-centaurs.
Everytime an oldhammer grognard pulls out their hair an Stormcast Prosecutor gets their wings. 👼👼👼
Dark skinned jungle sylvaneth who are all transgender women with muscular physiques and they ride cartoon looking Beatles. Also they are very expensive and have really good shooting with mortal wounds.

Chaos dwarfs are coming be chill.
The horns of hashut are the advance force!

Chaos space marine banners and sons of votan for 40k, loyalist and traitor for 30k and skaven and Sylvaneth for aos.
Looks right?

Have they announced this as range rotation?
Maybe they are just going to repack all the old warbands with "rivals" style decks?
I don't really follow underworlds but it seems odd.

I have really struggled to get into 40k because every single important Chaos character pretty much has to be male (and this is close to true in the Imerium as well, when it comes down to Primarchs who now seem to dictate the setting)
I agree with everything you said, but let's be honest... If GW don't give us trans girl chaos space marines then we've all been failed.

Does the army of scantily clad chainmaille bikini elves actually appeal to female audiences though?
My partner (non binary assigned female) thinks they look cool. I chose to buy raging heroes models as proxies for my soulblight so I could have some sexier vampire models.
On the other hand I'm totally uninterested in sisters because they have really bad haircuts. Weird reason I know...
I don't want to open up a big off topic debate, but getting women and girls into the hobby has a lot more to do with culture and creating spaces that are welcoming rather than models.

I think its more complicated than having a "girls faction" as i know more than few women despise the concept. More about having representation, something id never really experienced until becoming disabled (As the society "default" middle class white boy) but my word it is some powerful stuff.
So adding some boys to the DoK probably wont drive away many, if any women, adding them to the other factions is probably paying dividends though! As a woman I personally like the approach they took with the eldar which is to give you a choice of options with each kit. I'd also just prefer kits have lots of choices in general to be honest.
Like if you could have a boob torso and no boob torso for an Akhelian king model as an example.

We check out the awesome new Season of War Thondia! Such a good book and some spoilers at the end of the article about some hints as to where the storyline is going too!!
The battlepack for a specific themed tournament is pretty cool. Not sure it justifies a purchase, but it's nice that they are doing matched play content that isn't mandatory.

Personal theory is that GW know small factions like IDK and Fyreslayers need some kind of expansion. Just we've only reached the point that there is now more of a focus on expanding existing factions rather than making new ones.
I wouldn't be surprised to see kits similar to Treesong Rev, Kroak or Belakor for one or both towards the back end of 3rd. Followed by larger releases of 2/3 new kits in 4th.
