  1. Decided to put together a brute heavy list. Megaboss with Golden Toof and Hulking Muscle-bound Brute Weirdnob Warchanter 2@ 15 Brutes with gore hackas and 3 gore choppas 5 Brutes with double choppas and 1 gore choppas 1 Rogue Idol (Allied)
  2. I’ve been playing a 60 snake list since they came out and they slaughter everything they hit. They’re beyond ridiculous!
  3. Maneaters also should be on 50mm according to the chart, but they won’t be Gutbusters again until the book comes out.
  4. Personally, I don’t use Temple Nest. It’s a HUGE point sink! I use Bloodwrack Shrine general, 3 Hag Queens, 3@ 20 Blood Sisters, and finally I have a Stormcast Knight Incantor for that valuable “Thanos Snap” on whatever nasty spell comes my way. I’ve tried the Temple Nest but my list can put out more damage than I ever could benefit from the mortals caused by lethal transfixiation. Rekmeister is right. I wouldn’t use Temple Nest. If you want to, use the list I gave you. It works well!
  5. It’s not ignorance, you’re just new to Daughters. If you play the temple nest, take the Bloodwrack Shrine, 3 Hag Queens, 2 units of 20 Blood Sisters, 1 unit of 5 Blood Sisters to fill out your battleline, and finally, 2 units of 5 Blood Stalkers. Give the Shadow Stone to the Medusa on the Shrine and the iron circlet to one of the hags. Make sure the Hag with the circlet has Blessing of Khaine. The other two should have Cathecism of Murder and Sacrament of Blood. Use Hagg Nar as your temple for the 5+ Fanatical Faith save. Your Medusa must take Devoted Disciples for her command ability. Always strive to keep at least one model within range of the general to keep the 7” range for the 5+ save. Hope that helps.
  6. You have several choices for the snakes. You could use the standard Temple Nest build, or you could build just a straightforward snake list with no battalion. I always use a Medusa on the Shrine with 3 Hag Queens, and then 3 units of 20 Bloodsisters. If you wish, try either a Stormcast Knight Incantor or a unit of 5 Blood Stalkers for the remaining 160 points. I’ve been on a tear with my girls lately.
  7. Here’s my theory: What if they are bringing back chaos ogres and they’re doing a bulls/chaos bulls boxed set. Beasts of Chaos are coming out soon.
  8. Does anyone know why ogre bulls are no longer on the GW webstore?
  9. Lol, “The Family” are as follows: Ma (female with beard), Sweet Petunia (female no beard), Smythe (Pirate), Karl (Imperial), Uncle Ivan (Paymaster - Ma’s Brother), Shingu, Mingu, Ningu, Dingu (Ma’s Ninja quadruplets), Hassan (Araby), Kurt (Imperial), Boris (Paymaster). All of the Maneaters are Ma’s children, including Big Otto, Ham, and Ragnar. I’m going to have name plates for each model for my display board eventually.
  10. I have a question, crew. Do all Maneaters get shooting attacks or only the pirate and ninja models that have pistols or throwing stars? You know I’ll run into “that guy” in games. What do you guys say?
  11. I’m using a Maneaters themed list. I’m building the following list.
  12. DJ is right. The all snake list is brutal! People hate them, lol
  13. I actually found a way to fit an Incantor into my list. I’m going to try him against heavy magic opponents.
  14. None, really, because Daughters really don’t need them. Maybe the Stormcast ballista.
  15. Lol, in that game I had to face a double team of Nighthaunt and Blight Kings and those snakes just tore them up! Blessing of Khaine prayer combined with Hagg Nar temple is just insane. They never die, lol. My main fighting unit was buffed out and held like Spartans at the Hot Gates. People HATE the snakes now, ha! Play them, they’re incredible!
  16. Played a 3v3, 2k per person game today. It was my DoK, Stormcast, and Seraphon vs. Nighthaunt, Nurgle, and Beastclaw Raiders. As you can see, my snakes threw back a Nighthaunt/Nurgle double team! Blight Kings dropped hard and Mournghuls did little to nothing. Opponents conceded shortly after our turn 3 actions. Nighthaunt and Nurgle had virtually nothing left. Snakes were drooling to get their teeth on the Great Unclean One, but he knew it was futile. Stormcast and Seraphon ganged up on a 4 Huskard Beastclaw list. Overall, a quick and brutal game.
  17. Just for a goof, I painted up an Avatar to use for my games this Saturday. Does anyone use them? I have yet to see a single fellow DoK player use one in their games. I figured I’d at least try the Avatar once.
  18. I play snakes very successfully without the temple nest. Granted, mine is a 2k list, but I would rather have bigger units of Blood Sisters which can maul almost anything than to waste close to 500 points on a battalion for 130 and 2 units of mandatory Blood Stalkers at 320 points, ouch. In my opinion, Blood Stalkers are completely useless for their point cost. Other gamers may strongly disagree with me on this, but I’ve seen it on the tables. I use only one unit to fill points and I don’t like it. Only saving grace is that at least I get to showcase the models which are incredible.
  19. Slaughtered everything around the Glotkin. His Blight Kings just couldn’t handle the attacks from the blood sisters. He definitely had more magic, but it made little difference in the end. Glotkin was his anchor overall. I just went after all of his other stuff. Ended up with a major victory.
  20. Here’s a pic from the tournament I went to on Saturday. Snakes ? had 3 major victories, but another undefeated player had more victory points overall. Played against Glotkin Nurgle, Warherd, and Deathrattle battalion undead.
  21. Thanks for the feedback, crew. I believe she can’t use it in my armies’ case. I appreciate your feedback.
