I don't think so, The Silent People have been proven to be Insectoid and Kragnos definitely doesn't isn't that. He was also trapped under a mountain, where as The Silent People live in the many sentient mountains across Ghur. It could be possible he was trapped in Beastgrave by the amber or Silent People, and now that they left due to the early awakening Kragnos is free. Or they could be entirely unrelated.

You could be right but my feeling is that the figure in the video is an on looker and not Kragnos himself. My fond hope is that this heralds a AoS3 starter box of silent ones vs. Kurnothi.

  2. How would they play? I love the idea of an unstoppable swarm that devours everything in its path then moves on. Maybe a rule that would mean if you don’t finish off a model in a turn it goes to full wounds in the battleshock phase, like nurglings, to represent the endless swarm. Would they be disciplined or wild uncontrolled? Do we think they would have a hive mind?

    Wow!

The very earthy and "real" tones of the gobbos combined with the clear and almost cartoony shield emblems create an amazing image. You've got a very striking and distinct style with a lot of personality.

This is, honestly, the best goblins I've seen.

    That's very kind of you.

Looks great! What's the body? I've seen a sweet conversion using the Skaven underworld warband body and the older goblin heads that's neato as well.

They are clan rats.  If you want to see more check my thread Fishing for Warcry.

  5. I am toying with building a second Spiderfang army. Making grot driders using chain rasp body’s with grot heads attached to the spiders centaur style. I think I would also need to remodel the legs to make it work.

I made a skuttleboss out of a pusgoyle blightlord’s mount and the plastic Gitmob shaman.

For my Gitz I've opted to give all my shootas and stabbas the helms from the Boingrot kit. I also gave each shoota a quiver (I believe they were from Tomb Kings) and a small sheathed knife on their side. (From Grave Guard kit) very WYSIWYG.

Both unit leaders are using the Boingrot leader helms and I've replced the bad moom icon bearers with sporesplatta fanatic shroom tops.

I've also taken the armored lance arms from the Boingrots, sliced and filed down the lance to the pokin spear size, cut the spear tip off and glued on the lances.

So with the helmets and one armored arm my stabbas have a really different look and feel while maintaining the initial design. Very happy with results.

Some more plans involve using Tyranid Harpy wings on 20 hoppers minus riders and making 2 Squig Lobbas from the Mangler kits.

I would love to see some pictures of those grots

  7. Thanks man. I also have a more 'eavy metal style Gloomspite army, Heavy on the spiders but I thought Warcry would be a good chance to try a new painting style I've been toying with for a while. I have some Bonesplitterz in the big grey pile that I want to try after I finish this. I only get to hoddy once in a while so this will be a slow burn but I'm really jazzed for this. Thanks for looking.
