Skarbrand's Carnage Axe with the Bloodsecrator buff?

Towenaar

Question

If Skarbrand is under effect of the Bloodsecrator buff, how is damage allocated for his Carnage axe?

In this scenario the Carnage axe gains an extra attack, so if both successfully hit and cause total carnage, do you choose two models to assign 8 wounds each to? Or does one model take 16 wounds? Or does only one model take 8 wounds? (is it just considered an additional chance to hit?)

You must select the target for ALL of your attacks before making the attacks.  You then roll the hit and wound rolls for all attacks against each target you have selected.  The Bloodsecrator's Rage of Khorne adds one additional attack to ALL melee weapons.  It does not double the damage of weapons.

In the instance of Skarbrand's Carnage axe, you would gain one additional attack with it.  You would then follow all normal procedures for these attacks as you always would.  Select a target for the attacks, roll your to hit, then roll his Total Carnage for each successful hit of the axe to cause 8 damage per hit with it.
