Dracothjay
Hi all, was just wondering about the bridge of shadows spell. Yesterday I had a game and my glade guard found themselves face to face with an enemy treelord ancient. Obviously I didn't want them in combat so I cast bridge of shadows on them to get them out of combat. Now, my opponent said it was a legal move and I thought it wasn't. After a discussion I rolled a D3 to make it fair and I won the roll, so I moved them in the hero phase. was this a legal or illegal move?
Dracothjay
Ok, so reading back the spell you can only move them with this buff in the movement phase, not hero phase. I would say that was an illegal move then?
HadrielCaine
You can RETREAT in the movement phase and the Shadowdancer Spell affects movement. Moving in the hero phase is illegal. But If you were going to do it anyway in the movement phase (a flying double move could be a retreat move) I don't think it matters especially after a discussion with your opponent. Unless you moved again. Its technically illegal but even at a tournament most opponents would be gracious enough to forgive a slight misorder of actions.
