CivvieWarrior
Sorry if this has been asked before but it is baking my noodle... Say the lists state that "Unit X" can have between 5-15 models in it and its cost is 120 points (made units and points values) Does this mean that "Unit X" is 120 points regardless of whether I have 5, 10 or 15 models in it? And that "Unit X" is 240 points if it has between 16-30 models in it?
wayniac
The points are for the minimum value. Every increment up to the maximum costs that points times increment. So for example, if Unit X is 120 points with a Min of 5 and Max of 15, 5 models costs 120 points (120 x 1), 10 models cost 240 (120 x 2), and 15 costs 360 (120 x 3). Unfortunately, even if you go less than the next highest increment you pay full price. For example, if you only fielded 8 models in Unit X, you would still pay 240 points as though you were fielding 10, as points per model does not exist anymore (so really there is zero reason to ever not field the maximum allowed for the increment, as you're paying for it anyways) Hope that helps. KnightFire
And to add to what wayniac said, if its min 5 max 15, you cant have more than 15 models in it (you would need to have two units)
