Tomm23 Posted April 2, 2017 Share Posted April 2, 2017 So just started up and wondering where to go with the bits I've assembled, the malignant starter box and some wraiths/ banshees. Really like the ghost theme, but not sure whether to go full night haunt or just theme it. 2 propposed list 2k ideas are Full hight haunt 2x cairn wraith 2x banshee 5x3 spirit host 2x5 hexwraith 2x mourngul Obviously everything is night haunt, but feels a bit dependant on the mournguls for power. Frustrating for anyone dependant on rend though! ghost theme 2x cairn wraith 1 x banshee 1x spirit king (vampirelord rules using lotr nazgul model) 3x 10 vengeful spirits (zombie rules using lotr army of the dead models) 2x6 spirit hosts 2x3 spirit hosts 1x5 hexwraiths 1xmortis engine 1x mourngul This feels like a bit more variety and allows the use of my mortis engine and a spellcaster. Sception Posted April 4, 2017 Share Posted April 4, 2017 I'd personally lean more towards the second list, due to a personal preference for variety. That and the mourngul has a not-altogether-unwarranted reputation that would likely brand you as 'that guy/gal' for running two in the same list.
