Bedge
Can anyone recommend software to use for long-running map based campaigns. I've looked an trying to do something in Gimp and Inkscape but I don't have enough skills with these packages to make something that (A) looks good and (B) is easy to run. Basically my idea is to have a postcode map of our local area which players can battle for control over. Kind of like a 2D ladder campaign mashup with PokemonGo style ownership of real world landmarks, but renamed into a Mortal Realms alternate reality. The tool would need to be able to indicate area boundaries in a grid overlay, with semi-transparency to allow the decorative layer of the map to show through. Games played in each area would be used to dictate who had ownership of that area and/or extend ownership to neighbouring areas. Is there anything like this out there? Kramer
Don't know about that. But there was a thread about someone who did the (roughly) same thing. Maybe you can hit him/her up. Will try to find it later for you but you could also try the search function
