Thanatos Ares
Honestly, I don't really mind. Depends on your list I suppose, and whether you've got Cloak of Mist and Shadows or Cursed bookSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LeGinger
Agreed, it doesn't bother me either way. Going first is nice because I can get my buffs off ie mystic shield and Unholy Vitality, and going second is nice because I can be aggressive with my horrors and hope for a double turn and they can charge
Ashtyn
Depends on your list like Thanatos said. I find that if you go first, you need to be super aggressive. Put your ghoul patrol in offensive positions and go for broke. Unfortunately I've done the opposite in most of my games when taking the first turn. Every time my opponent has double turned me and done a large amount of damage onto my non ghoul patrol models, which are far less regenerative. Also first/second turn depends on the scenario. 3 places of power is a great place to take first turn as FEC, ghoul patrol can clog up one side of the board while your big flappys can hold the middle point. this way you make it quite tough for your opponent to dislodge you (I generally run terrorgheist and ZD with ghoul kings, 4+ 5+ 5+ is really difficult to dislodge off of a place of power). In other scenarios going for the first double turn may be better, ultimately deploy safely and take advantage of ghoul deployment and the big beasties speeds to position yourself nicely for a charge, and a huge advantage if you get a double.
