I would very much like to replicate this colouration on my slowly-being-painted Stormcast/Aelf/Freeguild army. Any insight into the GW paint used would be very much appreciated. cb_rex Posted January 25, 2017 Share Posted January 25, 2017 I believe their blue black recipe used in the bottom one is Black>Dark Reaper>Thunderhawk blue maybe going to Fenrisian Grey or Ulthuan Grey for the extreme highlight The top one looks a bit bluer probably similar but using the blue colour from the head, which I'm not 100% sure about, it could be Teclis Blue or Alaitoc Blue, Temple Guard Blue is another possible candidate or even one of the new Thousand Sons ones. You could glaze the black recipe above with Guilliman Blue to help saturate the colour and tie it in with the head which could probably look good painted Ulthuan Grey and then glazed and shaded to create the blue colour.
