Modifiers to dice rolls affect the dice roll itself not the roll required. So if I have a +1 to hit and profile says 4+ to hit, that doesn't mean I now need a 3+, it means I add one to the result of my dice. I understand that this turns 5's into 6's which is amazing for that crit fishing on attacks that need a 6 to go off. Likewise a -1 would prevent a 6 from being rolled.
After that context, my question is if I have a +1 modifier in play and the unit rerolls 1's, then I would never get to reroll the 1's as all the ones are now 2's?
