Batallions and escalation.

Hi guys! Sorry if this question is asked a million times, but here we go ?

 

In missions like escalation, can you make bigger drops than normally with batallions or are the restricted by the mission aswell. And how do you work out more extreme batallions like skyborne slayers and warrior brotherhood?

Your question may be irrelevant now due to the drasticly reconfigured Escalation battle plan, per the new FAQ for the General's Handbook.

Thanks! I might be stupid, but does that mean that you can't use for example the batallions I mentioned, but have set up them per usual?

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use the "set this unit up off the battlefield" rules, so they seem fine to me. That may just be my opinion, though.
