Highlander732
Formerly only playing 40k, i saw the Huskard on Thundertusk on the GW Homepage an fall in love with it. After reading the Battletome Beastclaw Riders and the Generals Handbook i decided to build a small Beastclaw Army with 1500 till 2000 Points. Two boxes Stonehorns/Thundertusks and one box Mournfang Pack are ordered and on the way. Now i am not sure how to play the Mournfang pack. The unit size is min 2. In most lists 2 or 4. My question is know, are two enough or are 4 better to play? I come from 40k and have no idea.
Braggoth
A unit of 4 is pretty strong, while a unit of 2 is pretty underwhelming. But because of battleline restrictions, you will often se yourself splitting up the Mournfangs into 2s.. So what I'm saying is: unit of 4 if possible. It all depends on how behemoth heavy you want to be. I've had success with making my Frostlord on Thundertusk my general, and having one unit of Yhetees as battleline, so that I can merge the Mournfangs into one unit of
Highlander732
Tank you for the answer. I have another question. If a Frostlord uses historischen Bellowing Voice abilit, could he profit from the effect?
Braggoth
it doesn't say "other units", so yes the Frostlord also benefits from the command ability
