Dracothjay
Anyone know paints/washes used to get the nice white oak look ? I've inserted this picture as I'm doing a winter themed army.
Soulsmith
I would basecoat white, wash with agrax, then drybrush over something like pallid witch flesh and extreme highlight/drybrush a 50/50 pallid witch and white on the highest points. Sounds right. Would leave the white undeather the ahead still punching through. I was also think rakarth flesh, attack then the whites on top? Might make a better oak brown under the white? Soulsmith
Rakarth flesh would work to, I would avoid using pure white for anything but the most extreme points, as really you want it to be a very pale oak wood colour, not pure white.
Dracothjay
Well, when I get around to painting them then I'll try it out. I'm incorporating incubi darkness and temple guard blues into the branches and leaves and having the tune glowing purple, like winter mystical. Thanks for the help!
