Stormy1486
Hi all, I'm trying to figure out how the bone skin colour is painted on these seraphon models. There are more pictures in the faction focus below. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2018/05/29/29th-may-faction-focus-seraphongw-homepage-post-3/ I experimented with ungor flesh, wraithbone, ushabti bone with sepia but cannot quite achieve the same effect. The effect cannot be contrast paints as the posts are from 2018. Thanks all!
Swooper
My guess would be Zandri Dust, layered with Ushabti Bone, washed with Seraphim Sepia and then highlighted with Pallid Wych Flesh. Could also be done from a base of Rakarth Flesh instead of Zandri/Ushabti, I'm not completely sure. Striations on the larger horns are probably done with Rhinox Hide. Lior'Lec
I cannot tell how that particular color was done but as it’s on the community pages you could write into white dwarf and ask them. I don’t know when it might actually get answered, but it’s an option.
Stormy1486
Tried a few things, still can't get it. Literally tried warhammer-community on facebook to find out. They posted a rakarth flesh video which literally looked nothing like the photos. Think I am doomed to never know it! I might try and find an older white dwarf and see if they are in there, its a good idea.
