Dirtnaps Posted August 23, 2019 Share Posted August 23, 2019 (edited) If we're talking Citadel paints then I would use a base coat of Naggaroth Night over a black primer then a thin layer of Xereus Purple. After that I'd do a shade of Nuln Oil to darken it and give some definition to the recesses then another thinned down layer of Xereus Purple making sure to avoid the recesses until I'm happy with how the purple looks. To finish it off I would do a very light drybrush of Stormhost Silver or Runefang Steel just to highlight raised surfaces and give it a bit of a scuffed look, like the paint is coming off a bit and I might even paint a few scratches here and there as well.
