Can one troop claim two or more objective?

Hello!

as above , can a troop claim one or more objective? In the core book it states that the same MODEL cannot claim more than one objective, but a very large troop can claim two different objectives?

It used to be that a unit could only claim one objective. But that was before they added the coherency rule where if your unit ends a turn out of coherency, you have to remove models until it is back in coherency. This allowed for some big "splitting a unit between two areas by removing the conga line connecting it" shenanigans which would have been ridiculously powerful

Now that you can no longer do that, the "a model can only contest one objective" is a very fitting change.

 

Long story short: Yes, a unit can contest multiple objectives at once. A model can not.
