Summoning choices.

So i have three examples of summoning i am not sure how they would play out.

1.  Player summons new unit to the table.  Are they allowed to add banners/icons/musicians to that unit they just summoned?
2. Player adds to an existing unit and wants to add banners/icons/musicians from the newly summoned models into the unit?
3. Player adds to a unit or summons a new unit into play.  Are they allowed to summon them into play however they like as long as they obey unit coherency?  I assume yes but it's not really made clear in the rule book.

1. That models are normal part of unit so yes, new summoned unit can contain them.

I don't understands two other questions.

Basically the second question is just asking if they can summon back lost banners/icon/musicians to a unit that lost them.

I think the new FAQ answered my 3rd question about how you place summoned models into play though.  Looks like you can string them out obeying the 3" rule.
