Rat Ogre + Plague Priest

Hello everybody, I have a rules question on the rat ogres plus plague priests please.

 

Does the rabid fury ability of the rat ogres (extra attack for 6+ wound roll) combine with the plague priest wither (+1 to wound rolls made against a unit)?

I mean, if wither gets cast successfully, does rabid fury activate on a 5+ roll instead? (Or 4+ with 2 withers)

Yes, it will work on 5+ (or 4+ if you successfully use 2 withers)
