TerrorPenguin Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 With the nix to the 5+ and to the range on the 'death save', is the save something that is now 'nice to have' rather than something you build an army around? Soulblight army traits - I could take the one that gives me a 6+ save even away from the heroes, but I'm not sure it's worth it anymore? It seems to come up so rarely as to not bother. Dracothjay Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 Yeah mate, not worth taking that trait. I mean, a 6+ save is nice, but it's not a save that your always going to roll. I strangely like only having that 6+ now, I think due to the fact that your forced to play a bit more carefully? If I was you do not focus on trying to get that save to an extended range, focus on doing what soulblight do best (or any other death army/allegiance), smash things apart!!!! I am a FEC player and yes, my army dies sooooo much quicker now without that juicy 5+ DM save, but where I lose models I can always regenerate!
