xspire
I want to start AoS and smaller elite armies have always interested me. This is designed to just learn the game and also take part in some beginner tournaments over winter, specifically for newer / lower ability players so there won't be anything ultra competitive around. [General] Vampire on Zombie Dragon [Allies] Vampire on Abyssal Terror [Battleline] 2 x 5 BloodKnights & 3 Vargheists [1420/1500] - 80 points for either Bats or summoning. The main reason for the VLoAT is because I actually planned to start a Death army before GH'17 when the AT still had the soulblight keyword, and I still like the idea of having one around. (and 2 dragons won't fit in 1500 points). I would also prefer 3 x 5 BK for battleline but yeah points are quite tight at 1500, not sure exactly how useful just 3 vargheists are going to be in a medium sized game. Thoughts and ideas welcome. I thought because it said Vampire keyword, I've obviously misunderstood. Is there no way to use it at all then now?
Xasz
You can use him in a Grand Alliance Death army. The Swift Death bloodline helps a little in compensating the loss. If you want to stay soulblight, maybe another unit of Blood Knights and 120p summoning for two units of marker zombies is reasonable. EDIT: Or a flying vamp lord and another unit of vargheists
