Hello all,

My name is Niek. I'm married for 8 years now and have 2 awesome kids. I live in the Netherlands.

I'm no stranger to warhammer fantasy.
I started with skaven back when the clanrats only needed the shield glued to them about 20yrs back.

I have played 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th and owned a variety of armies like skaven, empire, dark elves and tomb kings. I had my tk completly painted and magnetized and painted my friends ogres and lizardmen.

During 8th the game became impractial due to the size of armies and battlefield. We decided to quit and sold all the armies.

When Aos was released 2 years back i wanted to do something creative again and started my scenery tile project. See the link in my signature if you are interested. Over time i lost interest so that project lay on my desk for 2 years.

A couple weeks back 2 friends wanted to play Aos: Skirmish. The rest who stopped playing were interested due to the small size. So we decided on playing a custom campaign with rules from the hinterlands and skirmish we liked and put them together.

So after many years i ame back into the hobby with painting, modelling and building. Next week will be our first campaign battle and this time we intend to play the game as it was mea nt. On a fully aestetic table with finished painted models.

Check out my logs if you are interested ?

It looks like you've already found The Painting Table; but feel free to join in on the Monthly Painting Contract. We're finishing up the August 2017 Painting Contract (hosted by@Mohojoe ) here:

If you haven't found it yet, there are a number of folks over in the Open Play section that are running Skirmish that might have useful topics of interest:
