LunarLizard
Hi fellow gamers So I've been playing the skirmish campaign. I now have just reached the point were I have reached 10models in a unit. Does that mean I can change my weapon choices for the unit in my warband?Or do I have to stick with what I started with at the beginning of the campaign? For example my overlords company state that only if I have a unit of 10+ I can have up to 3 models that have a specialist guns. I think I've read the skirmis book 4x at least and can only find a bit saying uou can't swap out models. Thanks in advance Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
inunn
The quote from the Skirmish book is: "...aside from spending renown to add models to your warband, you cannot change the composition of your warband between games - once a model has joined your warband, they remain part of it for the duration of the campaign." So seems like you can't swap models, but I would think the next 3 you add can have specialist guns.
Somanlius
Why is it that you have to get a group of 10 before getting special weapons? Couldn't you get the special weapons for the first three models then only be able to get normally armed troops for the rest of the unit ? Is there a rule somewhere that I missed ? Duck1986
This could entirely be down to inconsistent wording of rules (and sorry for dragging this slightly away from Overlords), but I was under the impression that for Retributors, it would be the same situation, with 2 specialist weapons for every 5 models. However... the Retributors warscroll reads: "2 in every 5 models may be armed with Starsoul Maces" Whereas the Arknaught Company above states "For every 10 models in the company, 3 can be armed with [...]" The latter one seems quite definitive that a mimimum of 10 models are required, but re-reading the Retributor one, it sounds more flexible? Hi fellow gamers
So I've been playing the skirmish campaign. I now have just reached the point were I have reached 10models in a unit.
Does that mean I can change my weapon choices for the unit in my warband?
Or do I have to stick with what I started with at the beginning of the campaign?
For example my overlords company state that only if I have a unit of 10+ I can have up to 3 models that have a specialist guns.
I think I've read the skirmis book 4x at least and can only find a bit saying uou can't swap out models.
