mastercrafted Posted July 7, 2017 Share Posted July 7, 2017 YoI've just got myself the AOS starter set (finally!) after eyeing it up for the last 2 years.I'm a 30 something martial artist from gloucestershire Uk. I returned to the hobby a few years back after a 15 year break. I rekindled my love of 40k and necromunda, and all things chaos. I had just started a dark elf army when the end times him, and i got spooked and offloaded them. As much as i loved the AOS starter set, i wasnt sure about the rules and setting so i gave it a miss.However a few things have reeled me in:Free rules, warscrolls, awesome app and the warscroll builder.The free slaughterpriest in WD (i loved how big he was!)A trip to warhammer world and i realised how much i loved the new look of the factionsThe stormcasts and new fluff have really grown on me lately.I think round bases look better!I've found 40k a chore to play lately, and with the new edition out (and everything being in flux) i'm taking an extended break from 40k. So here i am. I normally use warseer, but AOS seems to be dead on there. I'm more of a builder and painter, so i'll probably share my efforts on here. I havent played a game of fantasy since the 90s but hopefully once i get a decent force up together i'll go looking for a game!Looking forward to going all in on the mortal realms!
