It looks like this week is a Bloodbowl week!
Unfortunatly , this is an empty week for us I wanted so much some mounted NH heros...
-
I think that I'll go full cavalry with the black coach bataillion and some solid heros plus one big infantry to stick ennemy somewhere.
Those mounted heros look so amazing

Any idea of when the new Nighthaunt (and stormcast) miniatures will be out? especially the heros & black coach ?

are the dreadblade harrows any good? is there a warscroll somewhere? I can't find any infos about them and I'd like to use them in the cavalry/black coach bataillon...
thx in advance

The GK without mount summons ghouls, not horrors/flayers.
Indeed, my bad. I was so enthousiast... Well, it seems that GKoTH is not bad, with the Crypt summon, and he is a Wizzard (not to be taken too lighly in commbat I think)

Has someone seen the painting challenge on the laucnh day (june 30th)? Did they paint the whole start set in 24h?

Well, together with the gkozd you could summon an elite Unit with a varghulf... that‘s pretty scary.
and the barefooted one then only costs 40 points aaaand they enter from a board edge...
but you need to get all the command points from somewhere
I didn't speak about the GKoZD because it is 440 points: can't fit as allied. Unfortunatly.
But I really think that we have something there: "The GK, by 2 , have decent wounds and attacks and boost their friends from crypts!!!" This is a HUGE wounds+attacks for only 280 points!!!
-
I've checked: GK=140 points, for 2 GK = 280 you have decent immediate rehenforcement (summoning) crypts horros/flyers = 160points*2 : none of those are weak. The GK, by 2 , have decent wounds and attacks and boost their friends from crypts!!!
What do you think?

Indeed it says "These abilities now cost no reinforcement points and have been tweaked so they work once per Ghoul King. In short, this means that every Ghoul King essentially comes with a free unit"
Not sure if GKoTH is better than several GK on foot.

'that has not used it before this battle'
thanks but ...I can't find it :-(
-
Where is it written "once per battle"? it is a command abbility.
-
I like those kind of list.
But I'd like to add a Goul king on terrorgheist (as allied?)
Can this GKoTH summon some let say Crypt Flayers if he is allied? it is unclear to me. And is this once per battle or what?

What's the 6/30?
the launch day of AoS 2, june 30th
during a full 24h warhammer tv live, there were many activities and there was a painting challenge (for 2 well known GW painters, duncan and ??? ) that I couldn't see. Has the guy been able to paint the whole box set in 24h? (the nighthaunt and while we are here the stormcast also)?
-
While we are speaking about painting: on the 06/30, there was a challenge at GW/warhammer live that I couldn't see. Has the guy been able to paint the whole box set in 24h? (the nighthaunt and while we are here the stormcast also)?

Deathrider battalion: I've just seen that in BoLs. I'll try a full speed army with a blob of Grimghast Reapers . It seems that 30 Reapers is a solid center battleline, doesn't it?
-
I don't have yet the battletome. I need some advice.
1. I have one set (soul wars): is it interesting for us to get a second one?
2. What are the units/heros in the starter set that are interesting to have in more than one ?
3. I have several former NH units: 15 Hex, 6 spirits, 1 cairn, 1 tomb banshee, 1 mourngul . Are they usefull in this battle tome wise army?
-
I have (sadly) the feeling that almost all our former units are replaced one by one by the new (better) one...
So, before investing again on a whole new army, how good....oups how bad are the former rarely used units like:
- celestan prime
- prosecutors
- vaguard hunters
- paladins
- palladors
-
All that I read here is that our former units are going dirrectly into the bin
I just got the new set. How can I manage to build a list with the former classic build (stardrake, 4 fulmi, é*5 judi, some libe, a knight venator etc...)?

All new units in your lists? Yes, you cant nerf just released stuff but everything old got nerfed or at least surpassed by strictly better new units. It is really disappointing.
Not surprising when you know that GW has to sell a whole new range of stormcast plastic!
-
up to 20?

-
what would you complete?
3 evocators
5 castigators
8 sequitors
and how?
The question is "is it worth buying 2 sets and which unit is the most interesting"?
-
This new decor seems modulable. I'd be glad to see it compatible (look and feel) with AoS...

40 skellies is superb but a bit slow: my taste goes to 40 less but more archai

Confirmed: this is a zero AoS week.
And this is very unfortunate for the 2 new armies. Lets see the NH side: almost everything has been teased. But we can't do much because the base army is uncomplete and weird sized in the starter set.
Yet to be released (at least): the 2 main chars, the dreadblades, the black coach, all the base units boxes. That is a lot! For example, I pre-ordered myrmourn banshee: they couldn't deliver because GW did not manufactuyre enough of them :-(
Same problem on the SCE side.
With the upcoming releases of new games: Kill Team, titan, Sector imperialis all of this this summer, even this month for KT and SI, I don't know when we see our awaited miniatures...
GW should communicate a bit more about this.
