there are also the regular Starter Sets for a release Slot, and to compare in 40k Marines and Necrons waited several months after the Codex hit for the last unit of the launch box to be released

Starter Sets, Battledomes, units from the sets and new units

I guess August/September until we see all the new stuff just because it is a lot and GW does not want to release everything within a short timeframe

This was during pandemic and gw had a lot of trouble with their schedule. Right now they are clean. Battletome will drop in June and models with it or week later.

I really don't want to come off as rude, so please don't take it that way, but can you explain that a little bit more? I mean they did exactly that with LRL, OBR, heck, Primaris across the board? GW making new sculpts more powerful on the board to sell more of them... that is basically what their business model is built around. After a few months after everyone has bought the new hotness the FAQ or eratta something and they drop in power a bit, and then it is off to the races on something new. The only time I can recall something totally new coming out that was not amazing was the STD start collecting box with the rules for Chaos Knights.
Again not trying to be a ******, but can you tell me how that is debunked? Honestly asking.

The list of gw product that were totally teribble on the realese is much bigger than being op ones. Heck last of them, Kragnos is quite useless. Slow, no mortal wound protection, ez to block, very expensive. More examples: Vanguard chamber wave. Only vanguard raptors and birds were played. Entire CSM range get refreshed to be still useless. Theory that gw make op new models is tin foil hat theory. I can give you more examples if you want.

I'm not sure, usually when the Battletome is right around the corner the new units will be in the GHB. We didn't see points for the Knight-Judicator nor the Chariot, which we know about.

Comparing to Indomitus and the SM and Necron Books, it was 3-4 months. So not extremely long, but still enough time to play the points.

It was in the middle of the pandemic. Their shedule was totally of. Not the case now.

I don’t think so.. but we will see! I said it before and I say it again: they want to sell new models! Even if they adjust warscrolls to the new edition like your desolaters example. Why do you think yndresta is only working on new models? Because they want to sell new models.

her abilities work on all SCE...

and argument that GW want to sell new OP models is the most debunked argument ever...

and I have still the opinion that we won’t see any changes on old warscrolls.

This is simply impossible due to a fact that you no longer can have 6 desolators in a unit. Also this would mean that sce will stay in a hellhole of being one of the weakest army again.

Does the "Shock and Awe" Allegiance ability not exist anymore for SE with the new Dominion release? It wasn't listed under Allegiance Abilities on the card that came in the Dominion box. I'm sure this has already been answered but I couldn't immediately find it.

We don't know simply because the battletome can be and probably will be diffrent from dominion. We have to wait for leaks from tome.

You're exactly right. IDK and DoK have been VERY strong for pretty much all of 2.0, but they were never "OP". I'd love a book written in that vein. I think Mawtribes is a good template, since SCE want to be elite.

Never been OP? Literally DoK and IDK are two the strongest army in the current game (end of 2.0)... Have you ever played competetivly againts them?

I am curious if a Lord Arcanums cycle of the Storm ability can be used on the same model more than once a turn?  I’m contemplating bringing a Tauralon, Gryph charger and then footie on Dais Arcanum (hopefully) and they could get pretty interesting busting open flasks on last wounds and being brought back to life, or tanking a big guys attacks and coming back for the other Lord to smack him in the head too.  I like the idea of the list anyway and was thinking it could go 2-3 or even surprise some better lists in my area.

    Lord Arcanum on Tauralon

    Lord Arcanum on Gryphcharger

    Lord Arcanum

    Knight Incantor

    10 x Sequitors

    5 x Sequitors

    5 x Sequitors

    5 x Evocators

    5 x Evocators

    Cleansing Phalanx

    Dais Arcanum

    Celestian Vortex

    Everblaze Comet

I’m 90% sure that the Sequitors and Evocators + the battalion and all those endless spells are a waste of points, but I was hoping that here I would at least be able to get a few options from you guys on that front.  I figured the CP and artefact would be helpful with all the characters running around, and the spells for additional damage and to force my opponent to move around a bit.  The Lords will try and hit a flank with the 10 sequitors and one unit of evocators dropping in with them, and the other squads will try and roll down the middle and take punches or deploy in the sky to come down on objectives at the right time.

I’m willing to swap for other units and would love to also hear some about which staves/traits/stormhosts are good for this wizardly approach?

You there will be new book in like a month of half? Also new edition... There is no much sense therocrafting now :P

It's interesting that we are getting another Knight-Vexillor, a Knight-Judicator when we have Judicators, and a Knight-Arcanum when we have many different Lord-Arcanums... Feels like they are rebooting Stormcast as a whole

Why? Knight Arcanum could be just a Lord Arcanum neophyte or something like that. Knight-Judicator would leads and buff normal judicators.
