I don't see the point of the varanguards price: you get 3 riders. At the SAME price (even LESS !) you got the new SC! with 5 knights, a big hero on monster and 10 new warriors.
Varanguards are like to times bigger in length and Height. Just no. I'm totally in proxy when it's creative not when it's cheap.

I'll have to snag an Endrinmaster to ride Master Blaster style on the back of an Ogor to use as a second Tyrant. He'll be the one who makes and maintains all the tech for my Gutbusters.
I was all happy that I got a huge lot of Ogors for cheap, but now that I want to stick KO bits on everything this could turn out to be a pretty expensive army.
I read that and though I had to share this dude I made a while ago for some proxyed allies for my kharadron that finally will probably join my Ogor mercenary themed army :

I really hope that if it comes someday, it will not just be “grot”. Even if kharadron book said so. It would be awesome if we saw a full range of privateers from various races. Human, grot, ogor, dwarf, aelf and ******.

Yeah... I don't know... I mean there's some very nice concept, but there's two thing I can't neglect.
1- is it me or everything looks very static? Horse are less dynamic than wooden horse carrousel. Skelies climbing have wood leg... I... I don't know.
2- it's me or there's a very low count of warscroll? Some other to go? I feel like it's more a KO release than an Idoneth one.

asian, european..probably also african/egyptian... i also can see new chariots but not the egypt one but eastern one (like chariots from khand (lord of the rings)).
my bet is a revival of Tomb Guard, Sphinx and Snake Kit for egyptian. Chariots , Catapults more like mongolian and elite Samurai skeletons Japanese style
Mongolian empire is basically fitting in every way of your description Imo. At is apogee Mongolian army had heavily armored sword footroop, cataphract like cavalerie, shielded pikemen.l, catapult and chariots... lookalike iconography and clothdesign than we can see in the trailer, hybrid est-west weapon and above all, very similar operation mode (raids, plundering, tribute (hey!"tithe").

Radical rules, whatever the game, are always a problem. Auto hit, auto wound... auto charge... imagine if a Cp could fix any of these for any unit. Autopass is ridiculous in term of gameplay as in fluff. We see skavens and grot beeing as (more) resilient and brave as deamon and demigod.
Horde rules are already a issue without bravery. But change an autopass for a +3 or +d6 or +general bravery for a CP or per Cp or whatever, would totally keep some aspect of IP viable without seeing a 60 grot just assuming everything is fine with losing 35 of them because some random 80pts dude saying so.

Basically, you add your units, battalions, command traits, realmscape features, and artifacts, and you will get an ordered list of what abilities to use during which phase. I know how many rules you guys have to remember

Ok ok found it... but that's isn't a valable option at the moment right? I mean, i can't show up at a tournament and declaring that my Clad or frigate is Garrisoned right? Don't tease me with such dream speculation my heart can't handle it.
ps: Speaking of survivability of KO heroes is much useless. As soon as you meet "speel caster" army like DoT, LoN, even DoK and other. You lost them. Kharadron heroes are spell magnet.- 1

I feel in the exact same way. I'm not saying that kharadron are bad. They are a middle tiers faction and totally playable in tournament if you don't aim the podium but just seek for some fun. But, even if you just want to win a few tournament game, you can't play Fluffwise and it's sad. It sad that you can't bring a real "Skydorf fleet army" with a meta based on boat-embarking-movement-boatsynergy and with a single tournament game with it.
God! I build/paint 6 amazing boat with stunning conversion ! I bring them at each tournament to show them on my Display Board, and then confessing "oh the boat..? nah I don't really play them... they are more like... scenery piece..."I mean. they are centerpiece ! It's like if a sylvaneth army use Alariel and Durthu as Wyldwood. I would trade a nerf on every single skyfarer model if i could bring Boat and boat-based special mechanic in exchange.

It would be easier to tell by seeing your list. Tidecaster is fantastic for optimised charges and reversing tides. Archmage is a real improve for idoneth weakness and he is a fast character on steed. In my last list I take both, but I often thinking about changing one or an other for another ishlean group.

I having a hard time making my Akhelian Corp list. Can’t choose between a King and volturnos
if i take Volti, I got 1 extra CP, probably 1 triomph and obviously the turn 3 party on. (1940pts list)
With a king, I can’t take Cloud of midnight and a third allopex. (2000pts list)
what should I do?
