@Lysandestolpe I am getting withdrawal symptoms from not seeing new models in my favourite thread on TGA.
I’ve looked at the above a bunch of times and they still rock, keep up the great work!
Thanks so much for saying that. Been working on three prosecutors, each taking about 14 hours lol. But I am almost done with them and will be posting them here as soon as they are. You can also follow me on twitter or Instagram: @oscarlars for more WIP updates
thanks for checking in and kicking my butt so I get moving haha.

Interesting to hear the rumors about the Ironjawz, I didn't think we'd see GW circle back to early AoS releases(other than Stormcast of course) until late next year or even 2020. There's been rumbling that the reason the 40k Orks codex is one of the last ones to come out is that it's going to be a big release with new models. Even though Orks/Orruks don't cross universes like the Chaos stuff, I wonder if GW will be doing a big release for all things Or* across 40k and AoS.
Oh man I sure hope so!

Finished up my Lord Relictor and mounted him on my first custom made Shadespire look-a-like base. Not the best, but I think the base will do. I hope you guys like him

Nice work, did you win the tournament or was it a painting award? You certainly deserve one!
It’s was for winningthe tournament. The store manager I think skipped Painting award.

Dude, these are awesome. Especially like these since the quality of your photos really do good grace on those minis. Can I ask you where you got the backdrop from? it's shiny where the models stand, so I'm wondering how you got that effect?
Thanks in advance!

Hi again everyone!
I won this cool trophy at a shadespire tournament this weekend!
Today after work I also almost finished my Protector Prime. Super fun to paint the blade on this guy so I know I'll enjoy the other two ^^

I thought you would paint the part that isn’t glowing like a blade. Allthough completely black looks cool too though.
Yeah, I tried that and it was just sooo much going on. it looked very cluttered. So I repanted the whole thing. Light is such an odd thing to paint sometimes. especially on models where the space left is so small.

Seriously though, that's some amazing work
haha oh you!
5 hours ago, elfhead said:The glow effect on the starmaces is awesome and again creates a nice hot and cold contrast. Are you going to leave the blades black?
Thank you! I tried to work it a little bit but I think I'm gonna keep it black with a nice and sharp edge highlight on the black. I think it looked too cluttered with more than that on there honestly. if you have any advice, please let me know

I have been a little bad at updating the progress of the Stormcasts on here. I'm sorry about that. Here are the first two Protectors with Starsoul Maces as well as the more or less finished Lord Relictor:
I am currently prepping to get the remaining bases ready for molding. After which I can cast some bases and get the Lord Relictor on the one he is supposed to be on. He didn fit on the once I already had so custom for him it was.
Thanks for looking

Wonderful!, Can You please Give The recibe for The Dark areas of The Armour?
Thank you!
The blue/black armor you mean? Either way its the same palette: Ultramarine Blue, Black, Vallejo Air Armor Brown, and white. Since I mix those colors, if you're not familiar such approach, it seems as if my video tutorial on the gold is getting a lot of good feedback. It makes me lean towards making one for either the blue armor, the blades, or both.

Thank you so much man, I really appreciate you saying that.

Excellent tutorial (and as a teacher who write his masterthesis in video tutorials I know my stuff?). Very clearly explain your process. I like the inclusion of the view of your palette too.
Wow! Thank you so much for saying that. Definitely makes me feel more eager to do another one, and keep the same format. ^^As for the palette, I do to. I just need to figure out how to get a clearer image of the colors. It's a little dark right now.

Hey everyone!
I got a lot of questions on a bunch of social media platforms on how I do my Non Metallic Metal. So, I decided to make a video tutorial that I hope you all find useful. Please share it with your friends. If I get enough response I may decide to make a few more. I do them in my spare time and it eats away from my actual work on the Stormcast. So I can't do many of them but this is my start. Thank you for looking!
