  1. Anyone visit ageofsigmar.com yet? Really nice artwork shown :)

I think I see some Free Guild and Darkoath solders in the piece, though I might be seeing things (to the left below the mounted chaos knights)

  2. New short story out 'The Sea Taketh'

    The Sea Taketh

Has a nice little explanation of how Sigendil is view in the realms "Bringing the rubber eyepiece to his eye, he trained it on the twinkling dot of Sigendil. The night sky might vary from realm to realm, and even within a realm, and with the movements of Ulgu-Hyish within the aethyric cloud, but the beacon star of Azyr was a fixed point in every sky."

More mentions Merwynn & Kelpdarr "Almost nothing lived at these depths. He knew of the merwynn and the kelpdarr, fiercely isolationist and protective of their territories, but even they rarely plumbed beyond the sunlit layer."

Also Free city Orruks "a peripatetic community of orruks of a more mercantile bent. They traded in meat and in bone, and in the spoils of their constant warring on the restless lands of Skulldrake and Wither and Deathrattle Point. Most Kharadron authorities would have run the greenskins off long ago, but as long as there were other foes to fight – and Toba Lorchai had plenty – then their belligerence was an even greater boon to the town than their trade goods."

  3. From the Idoneth Deepkin Battletome-

"Air breathers who do submerge into the watery worlds below bring back
astonishing tales. Coastal freedivers and beast-hunting Scourge Privateers
return with reports of strange and terrible creatures. The rarely seen aquatic
races – like the merwynn or kelpdar – are known to go deeper still,

although even they do not dare travel beyond the strata where the light
of the sun still penetrates, however weakly. They speak with whispered
horror of the deeper twilight waters and the ultimate blackness beneath,
where the crushing pressures and near-freezing temperatures are fliled
with the most dreadful of underwater predators."

Did the Merwynn and Kelpdar exist in Warhammer Fantasy? If not then we may have a proper fishmen (sub)faction.

Thanks! I wonder what's the right most image?

Edit:The Art looks AOS. Perhaps it's the grand Theogonist? Since in spear of shadows we find out that the one who holds the role is female

They might be the Witch Hunter  couple from the short story 'Witch Takers'?

  5. My best guest is that it'll be a continuation from Guy Haley's Shadespire audiodrama 'The Autumn Prince', really enjoyed Prince Maesa and his bound Spite, also I think is has the first confirmed romantic relationship between Aelves and Humans in age of Sigmar (was there any in Warhammer Fantasy before?).

Anyway looking forward to when 'The Sands of Grief' can finally be read.
