  1.

Hey, wasn't there a Khorn vs. Serophon plot thread during the Malign Portents event? If I remember correctly we chose to funnel a magick mist through the Aqshy Infinity gear in the Flamescare Plateau to power a time cannon to shoot at the encroaching Orb Infernia, which Khorgas Khul had taken over, to summon the Serophon that had previously been destroyed by him (god I love AOS). I think the hollow moon is still in a state of war between the two factions and does give credence to a possible Battletome update (sorry if this has been mentioned before).

  2. Not sure if this has been already posted by a nice little reference from the Gloomspite Gits Battletome

"The Bad Moon possesses its own strange satellite, a hurtling lump of misshapen rock that runs mad rings around it at breakneck pace. Some grots believe this to be the Bad Moon’s excitable pet squig. Others say it is Gorkamorka’s mace, or perhaps his fist, always swinging wildly to smash other celestial bodies out of the way. Others claim that the Bad Moon itself is Gork’s head and the satellite Mork’s, or perhaps vice versa. The Nosebiter hordes of the Pointyklaws mountain range maintain that this smaller object is the spirit of an ancient Moonclan chieftain who conquered eight great mountain peaks, and so was blessed to accompany Gorkamorka’s rampage through the skies for all of time."

I wonder who they could be talking about :D

  3. Not sure if anyone's already talked about it, but we got a little lore tidbit about aelves of Ulgu in the second Inferno! volume. From 'At the sign of the Braven Claw Part 2' it describes aelves who retreated into the shadows and deep within mountains and are called "kuru elgi, or the grey aelves, because of the colours they wear to blend into the mists, and the magic they weave about themselves to hide."

  4. Hey, a series exploring Khorgos Khul written by Gav Thorpe, that's pretty neatBLPROCESSED-The-Red-Feast-Royal-Cover.jpg

"The coming of the God-King Sigmar has brought relative peace and prosperity to the Great Parch. Yet across the sun-drenched plains of the Flamescar Plateau the passions of the tribes are intemperate and generations of loyalty to the Hammergod cannot wholly erase their warlike past and bloodthirsty traditions. Among them live the Khul, outsiders allied to the mighty Aridians through shared blades. Athol Khul is the spear-carrier, the bridge between these peoples, and to him falls a near-impossible task when a distant sorcerous power threatens the alliance. With the lives of his family and people hanging in the balance, Athol must secure whatever companions and powers he can to aid in the coming war. In doing so, he starts upon a path that will lead to glory and ruin in equal measure."

Wasn't it disproved that they are resurrected Skaven? As far as I know these are not resurrected Skaven but instead the reborn souls of mass murderers or assasins. I don't where I had read this. But maybe I might be wrong. ?

Sorry for double posting. But I still always fail at posting two quotes in one post.

Yeah they're not Skaven, and those are horse heads, which makes sense as The Great Horned Rat would be the one to take skaven souls, not Nagash.

  6. Huh, it seems these weren't future Shadespire warbands, but just some (amazing looking) push to fit kits, neat :D

"On the release weekend, meanwhile, you’ll be able to grab a range of push fit kits to bolster your forces from Soul Wars. If you’re a fan of the Sacrosanct Chamber, you’ll be able to reinforce your army with some Sequitors and Castigators (not to mention a loyal Gryph-hound!) while Nighthaunt players can add a Deathbeat Drummer to their Glaivewraith Stalkers, or add the shrieking Myrmourn Banshees to their armies – diabolical wizard-hunters with the power to feast on magical energy."

  7. So it seems there's going to be Three Main Books

The Core Rules which essentially is a guide to the Age of Sigmar setting, and contains the main rule-set.

    AoSSoulWarsLaunch-CoreBook11dv.jpg

Then the Generals handbook 2018 which seems to be  similar to the rest of the general handbook releases, containing army rules and point values, and a more in-depth look at the different styles of play in AOS.

    AoSSoulWarsLaunch-GenHandbook2018jbgr.jpg

The the Malign Sorcery supplement which expands the magic phase with endless spell, including missions and painting tutorials.
