  1. With the Killaboss on bird and the waagh you can double unleash hell and fight with 3 units before your opponent gets to fight in his turn.

This is really nice if you're opponent tries to alpha strike you or you can't get in range first. I like how you have many options even in your opponents turn.

In my list I can swap out the Killaboss and some hobgrots for a upgraded Killaboss (gnashtoof or bird). This might not be the best list overall, but for me the bodies are nice.

Spells, mount traits, strategies etc. Are not final since I still need to pick up my book.

I thought about something like this to try out maybe I'll switch one hobgrot unit to upgrade the Killaboss to a gnashtoof one.

Hobgrots have the kruleboyz keyword so the Killaboss works on them.

I'm really curious to see what a horde of hobgrots can do, I really hated them at first but for 80pts they seem like nice screens, tarpits and chip damage.

Spells and mount traits are not final since I haven't received my book yet.

  3. I know that some spells are really nice but I don't think we will many of them off with the high casting values an sometimes limited range. I think the shamans are enough and can cast once the unbind threats are gone. Without casting bonuses the spell lore is not a win condition.

I mostly see them as anti magic, especially with the murknob.

The madcap shaman is nice for turn one casting of His own spell and mystic shield.

  4. Maybe the murknob is really the way to go for anti magic. 5+ isn't much but I remember how much it saved my Dispossessed back in the day when they had the banner.

Magic is definitely a problem but I really don't think gobsprakk is the answer.

Man with the post above I really seem like a gobsprakk hater😅. Scratch that I am until they buff his warscroll 😁.

Would it be worth running pure Bonesplitters under the Mixed / Great Waaagh ?

How do folks feel about a converted ‘Big Boss on Wyvern’? I don’t like fighting them with my SCE Wondered if they help with our weaknesses

I thought about that myself but without our icebone, pre game move and other allegiance bonuses I don't really know why I would use some of our units instead of ironjawz or kruleboyz. Sure boarboyz might be nice for the speed and wounds the wurgogg for his mask, but for me we just loose too much.

I really like the idea of savage orruks on wyverns (especially since there is even artwork of them fighting fyreslayers). I don't know how much a Killaboss on bird would help without his poison, if that was what you were thinking about. With the current wording we can't even ally ironjawz or kruleboyz.

  6. Personally I don't even want use gobsprakk. Sure some stuff about him is nice, but a 5+ and 6++ is not good for what a target he will be. Against a good magic army you might not get any spells of the whole game with no bonuses.

In my current lists I only have a snatchaboss as a monster. I definitely want to try the Killaboss on bird (with my azhag model converted to the corresponding size, for me it's a cooler and much cheaper model :D).

I really think that it might come down to hobgrots to fill the bodies. Gutripperz are just too expensive to only use them for that purpose.

But without playing a game this is all just my impressions so far.

Anyone else thinking of the prospect of 10*10 Bonegrin Arrowboys.  They feel like a good self sufficient MSU unit now.  Add a Sloggoth, 6-8 Big Stabbas and some support characters and you've got tonnes of bodies, lots of arrows and a solid close combat army to boot.

Might actually be better as Big Waaagh but hard to turn down 100 extra shots a turn.

if anyone wants to roll 300+ dice a turn I really want to know how it went. With the current save stacking meta I dont know if it will work out too well but we wont know until someone tries this :D

Drakkfoot + curse is a very nasty combo, if you get the 4+ payer the target is well and truely doomed.
Do get the sneaking suspicious that both Drakkfoot and Wardoks are going to get seriously changed in the new tomb though.

I hope they somewhat keep the drakfoot spirit intact. Maybe we get a anti save staking or maybe we keep the anti ward. As for the wardok I hope the keep the scroll and priest keyword and just bump the cost a little

Well this post is old but I really like the red skintone, what colors did you use? I currently painted my bonesplitterz in wraithbone and put blood angels red contrast on top, but I want to highlight the muscles a little more.

I want to get people's opinion on this as I was discussing it with my partner and he said it had changed his plans for the new Kruelboyz release. Initially he was really excited for it and all of the big monsters, but because the rules and models are taking so long to come out, he's second guessing himself and the hype is dying down.

I'm wondering if this is happening/has happened to anyone else? It does seem that AoS 3 came out with all this uproar and now has shrunk behind 40k and Kill Team, with lots of models we know exist but don't know the rules for and hype is slowly dying down for these new factions.

Definitely for me the same way. I really like the models, as a bonesplitterz player I won't be too sad if there is no cavalry. (I wouldn't mind getting them either, but I already have 1,6k points of boarboyz/maniaks).

It's kinda like a hype or theory craft burn out for me.

The annoying thing is you always get your hopes up for new models or a release date that is soon. GW just keeps hyping but the slow schedule always makes it disappointing for me. Warhammer fest was q good example

From the stream itself. Eddie said there will be a drummer, chances are its made using the same horn blower model though, how easy it'll be able to add onto the Dominion Rippaz is anyones guess.

I think it will be quiet easy to cut the hand of the horn and put it behind a shield so none can see that some of it is missing.

Not much in these updates really, it's mostly just tidying. All they did for CoS was make Freeguild spearmen +1 to wound when charged, and modified the handgunners and sisters of the watch rule. Total letdown. They could have fixed the rest of the useless units while they were at it. It's also impossible to run a Stormcast hero as general unless you play Hammerhal with Aventis. :/

There's one big thing for gyrocopters, since they can now issue commands. Kill on horde your turn and one when your opponent charges. The duardin are slightly pleased regarding the other none existing changes
