In reference to the Merwyrn, an awesome idea that they could do for Scourge Privateers is for them to be able to take any "Aquatic" monsters with an accompanying "beastmaster" sort of unit. Then Forgeworld can lowkey suppprt them while releasing monsters for other factions. Just add the aquatic label to anything that fits and BAM!

Destruction makes sense as the Incarnate Elementals alliance as they would likely see any form of civilisation building or chaos corruption as unnatural to the realms and something that must be destroyed.

A "slaver" mechanic that allows a unit to have odd "allies" would be cool.

In these days of allies, things need to be faction-aligned, as mixed GA armies are less of a thing now.

Case in point, the Magma Dragon. It's a wrecking machine, but requires a mixed Destruction list to be usable and doesn't really fit the visual theme of any Destruction faction.

A switch to Order: Fyreslayers would work wonders for its sales IMHO, and would fit the overall theme really well.

The Carmine Dragon (Collegiate Arcane), Preyton/Incarnate of Beasts (Bray/Warherd), Dreadmaw/Merwyrm (Fimir?) all suffer from the same issues, and I don't think its a coincidence that its the faction-aligned Mourngul, Gorkamorka and exhalted greater daemons that get talked about the most often.

That's because while Chaos and Death have the Monsters of Chaos and Beasts of the Grave factions, both Order and Destruction don't have factions specialized in beasts. They could definitely benefit from a Menagerie of Order and Feral Destroyers faction.

The Incarnates should have their own faction as it seems that "eventually" there will be 8 of them.  Merwyrm should be changed to Order and put in the Scourge Privateers faction.
