    Unpopular opinion:

Hard disagree... I'd hate hate HATE HATE a female Varanguard rider! Whenever something is described as a HULKING BRUTE, I don't think the female form fits that description. So yeah, I'm far from a fan of female Chaos Warriors (or Chosen, Varanguard, whatever). No, I don't hate women. I usually like them. Usually.

And yes, I know it's a magical world but I still don't like it. WH:U warband included. Female marauders aren't such a jarring image to me, probably because they work fine visually. Or even special cases like Valkia or Dechala. Or the Marauder Warqueen character. But hulking, heavy armored Chaos guys should stay dudes.

Uhh we have models of Female Chaos Warriors. They look exactly the same as male ones. The only way to tell is if they take off the helmet.

I see Sigvald and Chaos Warriors redone and it makes me more angry with GW about the ****** that is Lumineth.

Dark Elves got to keep their models and now new lore going and High Elves got squatted and replaced by freaking garbage cows.

Look at this new models! People are excited, people are happy! Sigvald is not wearing a @#%¨& racoon hat! Chaos Warriors are not half fish!

It is just stuff people love redone with modern tecnology!

If they were going to take a ****** at High Elves they could have had the courtesy of keeping the old subfactions in CoS!

    /rant off

    High Elf guy here.

I really like the Lumineth. Cows included. The Spirits of the mountain are super cool.

You know. Opinions differ. If there is anything that's holding me from starting a Slaanesh army, it's those ugly faces of Slaanesh deamons. I was hoping for some cool corrupted nobility for Slaanesh mortals' battleline.

RAW it's 1 in every 4 units in a Har Kuron army can be a Daughters of Khaine unit. Morathi, much like an underworlds warband  made up of a  small unit and separate hero is two separate units, on two separate warscrolls, you're just required to pay for them together, and take them together in matched play games.

They are just one entry not the same as the Underworlds warbands,

I just gonna copy and paste the review of the book n goonhammer who after read the new rules i agree with him

This is a big one, 2 new subfactions for Cities of Sigmar. I don’t think either of them are going to replace Hallowheart in the meta but more options is nice. Unfortunately unlike some other armies in the book there arent any general buffs to the army so if youre not interested in playing with new subfactions you can probably skip this book.

So what many people like to play with new subfactions and battalions.

Yeah, I could get a Bloodthirster for $170 or a Mega ripoff for $320. The disparity is absurd.

170 vs 230 for a Canadian like me.

But yeah I would for sure buy a Mega Gargant if they were 20% cheaper.

  7. I feel like Mega Gargant Prices are still absurd.

One of them is about the same size as the glottkin, but for some reason they are double the price. There is also no need for them to be more expensive than Archaon or Teclis the old most expensive models.

So many people in the discord I was a part of were really excited for the Mega Gargants, but backed out once they saw the price. I think had they been cheaper, maybe around the price of a Greater Daemon, Way more people would buy them. But people are getting scared away by the prices.

So is anyone currently running or in a campaign? I think I've about finished the framework for mine. I'm trying to keep it to 5-6 sessions and only 4 players since its a brand new system for all of us. It'll be interesting to see if they like a more narrative style game, coming from very crunchy DnD backgrounds.

    I am.

I feel like Sigmar hired a hairdresser for the Stormcast women who can literally only do the one sideways-undercut style, but everyone's too polite to ask if they can do any other hairstyle.

In this cause it's because it's the same character.

The Light of Eltharion is awesome but Teclis's model feels really off for some reason.

maybe it the point of view but him floating like that makes it really weird and unbalance

He looks better in the video. GW tends to make stuff look worse when taking pictures for some reason.

    d) Skaven. Wait I hear you cry Skaven do use guns. Yes yes they do. However only the elite use them. Regular skaven tend to have spears and slings - really cheap simple weapons. For Skaven they enhance their weapons with warpstone, a limited and expensive resource. Furthermore gun shooting itself is, by skaven standards, likely a high skill and high risk affair. They are not a people you could easily train up thousands to use guns - you'd probably lose more than half to accidents (both blowing themselves and each other up).  So even with a gun using race there isn't always the suitable general population to make use of gun based technology.

This is not the case. The reason guns are not widespread (Skaven don't care too much about wasting warpstone the bullets are warpstone as well.) is because Clan Skyre loves having a monopoly, they don't teach any other skaven how their stuff works and only rent it out for large amounts of warpstone.

    I think these are the Light Aelves that were rumored, not a full remake of classic elves, no Tyrion involved. Otherwise there would be an excessive number of Aelf factions. I mean, more Aelves than humans. Currently we know of;

    • Idoneth - Sea Raider Aelves.

    • Daughters - Aelf Cultists with a focus on Khaine.

    • Sylvaneth - Not Aelves in a tradition sense, but crafted by an Aelf goddess using the souls of dead aelves, sometimes in Aelven shapes like The Revenants. Took the place of the Wood Elves.

    • Kurnothi - Half elf and half deer, could be argued to be paired with the Sylvaneth if more Kurnothi are introduced.

    • CoS Aelves - All the Old Standard Elves.

    • Pointy Aelves - High Elf replacement created by Teclis, but most likely not what people expect. I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t look similar to the Hysh Warcry warband.

    • Rumored Dark Aelves - Unknown currently, other than Mistweaver Sai and that other Warhammer Quest Hero.

It is a lot of Aelf factions, and I don’t think Tyrion will have his own separate one. Grungni currently is follower-less so having no worshippers is a possibility, and as far as we know there is a chance Teclis made these pointy Aelves for Tyrion or is sharing as twin gods.

Kurnothi have the Sylvaneth Keyword. So they will likely be folded with them.

CoS does not have the Old Standard Elves, pretty much the whole High Elf range vanished before the release, and I would not be surprised if some of it reappeared for the new ones.

I hope to be mistaken, but im totally sure new teclis elfs will have mistwaver saith stetic,

Pretty sure Mistweaver is part of the Dark Elf faction.

Anyway I don't think these are the Hysh Light Elves, I think they are Teclis's attempt at the High Elves. Tyrion's Elf's will likley be the Light Elves, while Teclis will recreate the Classic High Elves.
