@Sheriff yes Think Moonclan would be well suited to shadespire, some nets, some fungus poisons and maybe a squig for good measure.

indeed there are few cavalry models that could fit on these tiles. Hoppers would be quite unique for this.

I'd guessed that each warband would form a mini unit of three or seven models or whatever with a few extra special rules to act as a sort of gateway drug to AoS for Shadespire players and give the AoS players an incentive to pick up Shadespire. Oh well, not too fussed either way. :)

Yeah the warscroll for the new liberator is now in the public domain. The new units are basically like regiments of renown in total war. Like regular units but boosted and fewer models. They get buffs based on which named models are alive still.

Well the Shadespire Sepulchral Guard Warband has 7 (new) unique models. It's the largest Warband :)

Wow thats awesome. They are my favourite non-goblin army in Total War, so pleased to see skellingtons getting some love. Let's hope they don't get bundled into just 1 new unit.

Not really, its not part of the official campaign line, plus you can't buy just the book.

(I'm thinking more in line with the incredibly great Realmgate wars books)

It feels like a campaign to me. A glorious one. Its basically Total War in cardboard form.

  5. I'm salty about goblins having no battletomes or abilities of their own, but acknowledge that GW have churned out a lot of good content this year (it's the reason I got into this again). And I don't mean just books and models - the online content has been fantastic both in terms of social media comms and video games and Twitch e-sports (I listen to Warhammer TV battle commentary in the car).

Was there a rumor going on about the next storyline for Age of Sigmar going to be next year? I thought I heard something to deal with Nagash?

The only confirmed thing for story lines as far as I know are the ongoing blightwar, the 'malign portents' event/campaign in 2018 (which seems likely to be Death-related but not for sure).

Who knows what  else might happen! I like  to think we'll get geography-based stuff such as a sky-war between the Scuttlers and the Karadron Overlords. And a subterranean thing between skaven and dwarfs. A sea thing between new aelves and... wraithfleet?

Guess what? They are in the book, they are kinda creepy to be honest. After reading that section they need their own tome I thought to myself.

Yeah I'll get round to it after i'm done reading the end times books. (no spoilers pls)

Well all are one in nagash Sheriff! Does not matter which alliance you prefer. xD  To further the pont they view the body as a meer host for the spirit after the act was done the nagashite's threw his body off the city. (The city is on a giant worm. They were handing out pamphlets before hand.)

    You've piqued my interest...

I need to read some sigmar books it seems. I want one that includes spiderfang and/or moonclan, that doesn't shove stormcast in my eyes every chapter. I hear the monster one might fit this bill.

Totally in spear of shadows a nagashite freely gave a vampire his blood to the point of death. That's how er dedicated they are.

I wouldn't take it that far. Needs to be a reward in it for me. I guess this is why I prefer Destruction :D

  10. There'll be all sorts of death stuff coming out of Shadespire, surely. Boney minions, heroes, bosses. They will of course make it a gateway drug to AOS by making the new models available for use in both games.

Personally I'll leave it for now as GW has supplied plenty of other stuff for now to keep me busy. (Firestorm appeals more as its refreshingly free of Stormcast, and gives goodies for goblins.)

These 'Death Cults' must be mortal humans wishing to become immortal by letting the wraiths have their way with them. For the wraiths I guess its just recruitment policy to raid the willing mortals. Why don't the cultists just leave the city and setup in caves etc, like in Diablo? Maybe they do, and help the wraiths with intelligence, e.g. ways into the mortal cities...

That's another one, yes. The source you have used is no better, it's a clickbait vehicle for a rumour monger that got people all doe eyed at cesspit Dakka.

    What sources are good?

I use this and 4chan. Seems a good balance between the 2.

  12. If you wise ones had to rate the reliability of these rumours, how would you score them out of 10?

    - Sea Elfs (new faction)

    - Girl Power Elfs (new faction)

    - Hot air balloon goblin pirates (new faction)

    - Spiderfang allegiance + new units in 2018
