Yes in Dawnbringers Lord Kroak tells Alarielle that Kurnoth is not lost.

It's interesting that in the background since AoS began Kurnoth was described as a dead god but since the release of Belthanos Kurnoth is described as a dormant god.

I feel like that was his interpretation of what he saw like look Kurnoth is not dead he is living through his followers

Maybe there will be no wizards in spearhead mode allowed? It seems a bit strange as the diversity between the battletomes is also the magical power they have. But if the magic module is not added, how can the pointcost of those units be balanced if they can't use a big part of their identity. Biggest example is Tzeentch.

Well new spearhead for FeC has wizard. Also good example are Lumineth with every unit champ being wizard.

I was just reorganising my Underworlds sets (I know, no one plays it, UnderWHO?, etc.) and it got me thinking...

Are we going to lose a bunch of them from the indices (i.e. a good time to drop older ones that aren't purchasable) or will we maybe get some old ones added back into the armies they go with (Grymwatch for example) and update them like they just did with Rivals of the Mirrored City?

RotMC was kind of two fold, making them available again so AoS players could get them and new Underworlds players could get them, but also updating them for the current season of Underworlds.

I doubt we will see them. They are updating decks for older warbands with not full faction decks so only s1 and s2. Beastgrave onwards all got legal decks and they are still competitive with new stuff, especially grymwatch 😁

I’d expect Warcry will drop the next 4 Warbands at the same time after Adepticon.

I thought same, last time we got box 1v1 and 2 standalone boxes. Maybe that is their way now with warcry they are doing same in Underworlds too

Its so weird to me that they didnt include Icebone Bonesplitterz in the Deathgorge cycle despite all the iconography being tossed around. I am actually still a bit in shock after seeing this artwork.

Well they all died or fled from there. Now warbands are sent there to try find sone artefacts burried there. Settings in WU was never indicatiin of warbands. We had cool story about Enclave of mixed Deepkin and DoK in Harrowdeep but we never got that warband instead they gave us swamoy Orruks in sea setting 😂

this was an underworlds teaser for deathgorge

All it's warbands have been released, addepticon will tease the next setting so I don't think Icebone will arrive anymore

So from Deathgorge lore, that place was home of some orruk tribe before winter came and put everything in ice. That is why totem is there

You can really blame Rob for that. I'm really not sure GW would be focusing on it this much, had it not been him to wage his private little war on the lack of balance in competitive Aos

I wouldnt agree. They are focusing more on balance through all systems. Even WU has metawatch, not often as AoS or 40k but even there they follow results and try balance warbands/cards.

Not necessarily. Ogor and Seraphon warbands were replacements for existing units. Lumineth, Nighthaunt, Fyreslayers, Stormcast, Darkoath, Kruleboyz Cities of Sigmar and Flesh Eater courts are all very in line with their faction's aesthetics and identity. Only the original Chaos Cultist warbands really had their own spin, but they're all part of StD which is a mixed bag anyway.

No warband had a radical departure from the rest of the army. Adding humans and aelves for the first time to Sylvaneth would be quite a big departure from the faction's identity of tree people and bugs so far (although you can argue that Skaeth's wild hunt and Qualthis already are, though they do not feel like they belong in Sylvaneth at all).

Underworlds does this (Skaeth's Wild Hunt, Rippa's Snarlfangs), but Warcry has not really added anything completely new to armies so far.

I think it is due paintjob on Kurnothi which is totally in contrast from regular sylvaneth scheme. But they share features like lamanteries in their bellies, cloth is similar too revenant/treelord tabards etc.

I'm pretty sure there was one of the blades that got a RE? I remember because people were saying it was 40k eldar but then it turned out to be LRL, maybe I'm misremembering though

It was prob siluette few days before reveal. I just checked neither warband from upcomimg box had RE
