Look at the City of Sigmar book. You even have compendium units (Wood Elf Prince on stag). Fluff offers totally no protection at all.

Don‘t get me wrong, those models are great and would have been amazing for the old world orcs n Goblins but I don‘t get the AoS feel from them since they‘re just a „remake“ of the old wolfriders which is unusual and this could be a „first“ for AoS (just adding a freshly for AoS remade unit which was exactly the same back in 8th).
The "it is not AOS feel" argument comes out a lot. I do not think there is really an AOS feel. WHFB inspired miniatures form a significant if not the bulk of several armies in the AOS world e.g Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, Slannesh, Skaven, FEC, DOK, Sylvaneth. In fact the truly brand new AOS factions imo are Stormcast, Fyreslayers, KO and Idoneth. There is no distinction between AOS style or WHFB style, imo the differences comes more from new sculpting technology and the liberty for more dynamic poses since ranking up is no longer an issue. Just like Slannesh get new fiends, Khorne get new hounds, Goblins now get new wolf riders.

And as a Warhammer enthusiast I entirely disagree with you. Much like Kurnothi, Idoneth, Nighthaunt and Fyreslayers these fellas here are the replacement of an old world faction. And frankly The TK’s aesthetic would have stuck out like a sore thumb. So these guys tick the box of constructs, liches and Grand emperor/king as a lord, and warmachines. The Horses remind me very much of thr ushabati with the varied skulls.
The horses remind me of demigriff skeleton

I do hope they do away the faction restrictions in each cities given that the range is streamlined. E.g everyone has access to wanderers, dispossessed etc. Rather than the existing one which is Stormcast and Free Peoples plus plus.

Glass hammer armies need it a lot. Without inspiring presence, the meta will fall on elite resilient armies with few models .
Besides it is not indefinite as it burns through CP meaning less CP are available to buff attacks.

Chance to buy the watch tower. Great that detachments can be used with Cos rules.

Imo. Make STD a Chaos undivided army. Once you give a mark to a unit, it gains the allegiance ability of the said Chaos faction but still also retains STD allegiance for list building purposes. Devise some kind of cap for such units.
All Chaos warriors and knights need to get at least rend -1. Reprice all units.

Let's make a Facebook group and get enough people together in an "Order rebellion" group going until GW has to acknowledge us lol.
Even better to use an army of compendium units to fight sigmar

Agree it is over the top. I had 2 games, one see him summoning 2 KoS and half a army. The 2nd game I was lucky and manage to get double turn early to kill all his characters. He had 60 + depravity points, if I had not cause the final wound all the KoS will be summoned back.

I would like to point out that based on the Slannesh book, Tyrion is still some sort of cavalry commander leading his cavalry to battle.

You should be able to play them until the next GHB, since they have both points and warscrolls.
I am same as you. I lost two of my three AoS armies. For my old stuff , I am thinking of either playing WHFB again or (more realistically) play AoS Legends using points from GHB19.

Well Seraphon is likely going to be like Skaven - no new models or if there is only one; plus endless spells, plus terrain feature.
Slaves to Darkness I would wager could be a bigger release, then again if they combine Everchosen and Slaves into a single Tome then there's already quite a variety of models to choose from.
Absolutely fine for me. All Seraphon needs imo is updated rules. Their warscrolls are severely underpowered though the allegiance abilities are good. For example the bastiladon has too few wounds.
There is a guy on Facebook AoS group that also say Seraphon are coming. When other users told him NDAbreaker got debunked, he insisted the Seraphon are still coming but refused to give details.

Is the Seminar over? No updates for quite a few hours

This latest tumor reminds me of something Draconic. And I remember that there was an earlier rumor of a hand holding a young drake. Perhaps the upcoming Aelven faction is Order Draconis rather than Cthulu Aelves or White Lions (White Lions are debunked as the lion head pic comes from the cloak of Black Talon).

I hope there will be a release of AOS miniatures in September since there is only 1 codex scheduled to be released. I also assume 28 August will be the release date of GHB 2017?

Thank you very much. Just as I suspected, the point cost are largely identical to their Darkling Coven counterparts

Sorry if I need to ask this as well.
May I know the point cost of the following wanderer warscrolls
1)Eternal Guard
2)Glade Guard
3) Nomad Prince
4) Wayfinder
... and cold one knights for Order Serpentis

I didn't rage quit. Continue with playing Warhammer 7th ed, 8th ed and AOS with different groups (I hop around the groups trying to keep the flame alive in everyone). I love AOS but I don't like Sigmar and his Stormcast golden boys. Despite being part of the Order alliance (I play Aelves), I having been waging war against Sigmar and his stormcasts for nearly a year.

It is a pity that several rumour reveal pictures, which we expect to be KO, turn out to be admech
