Will today be the day? Hopium blimp at max altitude. Regarding the Kruleboyz and meta-plot. I do wish we got a new race in Destruction besides greenskins and vaguely human giants. Fimir could fit that but so could a lot of other species along the mortal realms. and I'm with @Baron Klatz that the narrative is moving along but even with the rite of life and Kragnos' reawakening. The damage to realms is a lot less than that of Soul Wars. I feel like Era of the Beast is about rebuilding and expanding. I think we'll feel that a lot with Cities when they're out.

Hoping strongly for the Seraphon box but it could be Underworlds/Killteam too

I would expect more resin for the Old World to get started with, remember HH was around in Forgeworld long before GW made the plastic starter box. I think we'll see a bunch of resin characters/monsters/special units for a while until GW seems what to expect in popularity from ToW

In the most recent Stormcast book, "First to be Forged", they talk a little bit of what they wear outside of combat. I don't know why I found it so weird when it should make perfect sense but they're pretty much in robes outside of armor. I got the impression it was simple linen robes but it just didnt mesh in my mind that these 8 foot statuesque demigods are just meandering around in togas.

I must have completely forgot about those. O-O that's embarrassing and I can't believe its been 3 years since I've been. To save some face, I believe the big announcements weren't in the seminars but instead done at the big dinner each year. Who knows, as my memory is more faulty than I would like.

As someone who's been going to GAMA for awhile now they almost never reveal anything new. The seminars aren't so much about unveiling the next new thing and more about getting retailers to carry GW. They will probably hype up 10th edition a lot and talk about how it's a good time to start carrying 40k or increase your stock of it.

I've always liked this idea. Hero sniping to me is a very feels bad thing in most games. Usually your heroes define how your army functions and they also give you some really epic moments in games. You can still have "sniper" style units that can allocate wounds to hero models in units with ranged attacks and also have units similar to the Lord of Hubris that can challenge out heroes in the combat phase.

I'm mildly concerned about the 4th warcry box making it out before 10th because besides the leak we've seen nothing from GW on it. They normally spend a month or so on hype for these right?

Alright let's do new Calendar predictions! Outstanding major capstone releases arriving before 10th. We now know whats arriving on the 22nd and rumors are now saying 10th might have a 3 week pre-order starting as soon as the last week of May. AoS Seraphon Box Seraphon Release (?) Seasons of War - Gallet (?) it was pictured before the Seraphon tome in the road map. Underworlds Wyrdhallow Killteam BoC vs KO 40k Combat Patrol - World Eaters (GW as soon as yesterday said it was arriving in a few weeks.) There's a bunch of other things on the release list but usually they are accompanied by other releases (Horus Heresy) and others that haven't been previewed or said to be releases prior 10th Ed. PRE-ORDER April 22nd - Seraphon Box Set April 29th - Kill Team / Combat Patrol: World Eaters May 6th - Wyrdhollow May 13th - (?) 40k Release of some sort. Maybe Farsight and Snikrot? May 20th - ? May 27th - ? June 3rd - Warhammer 40k 10th Edition 3 week pre-order begins.

I think its a 50/50 for Seraphon army box or Underworlds/Killteam. I'm just trying to not get my hopes up. I do have all of my webbed fingers and toes crossed.

Anyone think that Whitefang's hint at a new wave of destruction might coincide with the release of the Old World starter set that's rumored to be Empire vs. Orcs & Goblins and to be releasing later this year? Would mean a gitmob-esque release that could be tied into AoS. Just a thought I had the other day.

Did I accidently go to the Fyreslayer General thread? After finishing reading the OBR and SBGL leaks, I like them and it seems to reinforce the flavor of the armies. It is wild to see the disparity between how these new tomes came out to other earlier tomes. I really hope the end of edition narrative really pushes some forgotten tomes up and maybe new models. I'm looking at you my Skaven frenemies.

There are (presumed) halflings in the novel "Godeater's Son". I can't remember what the tripe is named but they have the proportions of halflings but their skin is described as periwinkle in color.

This would get me to play Nurgle.

I would love that! That terrain would be an immediate purchase. I'm curious if they go into the crashed ship would we see another Seraphon warband? Maybe this is also where the rumor of the "spawning pool" terrain started.

Even as a joke I could not even begin to imagine the amount of vitriol this would spawn on social media. Not to say it wouldn't be hilarious, I just don't think GW is brave enough to bare it.

I know this is asking for a lot but we've had Dante, the Lion and now Katakros spoiled... can we have a little bit of Seraphon rules spoilers please? Why can't the shipping robot malfunctions work in AoS' favor? For the end of the "Era of the Beast" speculation I think Alarielle's Rite of Life will cause some more unintended consequences and cause several factions to be bolstered IE destruction, FEC, whoever else is getting new models. I think the next edition will be focused on one of two things. First being the Dawnbringer Crusades and expansion of the realms OR it will be Chaos making a big move striking back. AoS 1.0 - Sigmar strikes back, the end of the Age of Chaos. - mortals can retake the realms AoS 2.0 - The Necroquake and Soulwars. - dealing with wild magic and securing the cities AoS 3.0 - Era of the Beast - Rite of Life leads to deadlier foes as the Cities/Mortals start to expand past their bastions AoS 4.0 - (?) Dawnbringer Cruades - establishing new cities, reaching further into the realms and uncovering new threats. Or AoS 4.0 - Archaon's Return - Factions of Order are spreading too much and Archaon returns to quash further loss of his territory and once again tries to bust into Azyr, maybe this time successful?

I think it might be closer to Skink Starpriest Saurus Warriors x10 Raptadon Riders x5 Bastiladon x1 I feel like the vanguard will be the only way to get the Starpriest after things get reboxed.
