My Seraphon thoughts We have 2 kits left and we keep getting Monday reveals every other week. Which leaves this Wednesday for CoS. Hopefully at the end of the kit reveals they'll announce an army box or just release schedule for Seraphon.

At this point I feel like Seraphon aren't getting a launch box.

It's possible and I think if we see a Seraphon reveal on Monday a City Box reveal for Adepticon might be more likely.

I really wish Seraphon got spoiled like Prisoners with Jobs to Darkness did. I'm so impatient and want to start planning things now. Come on warehouse robots send me a lizardy whoopsidoodle

Im pretty sure he meant Seraphon boxset and misspoke but we'll see in a week's time.

Oh yeah a Nightmare Quest could be like their "Vision Quest". I would love go see more shaman-esque models in Bonesplitterz. Give me orruks with wooden masks, snakes and character.

I personally love the look of the Raptadons, they feel more AoS. Culchans are cool, I just prefer my dinosaurs a little more cretaceous looking.

My dude with the great dino selection. I was hoping the skink cavalry was going to be on Pachycephalosaurus but I am very pleased with the Raptodons. I don't believe Yubirajara was described yet by the time they would have started the design work on the new Seraphon. I'm hoping the Kroxigor are chimeric with their dinosaur influences. I know the old kits had Stegosaurus like thagomizers and more theropod-esque heads, so I'd like to see that pushed more.

Chiming in on the Kroxigor. Whitefang heavily hinted they will be more dinosaur in appearance. I'm hoping that Kroxigor will be a dual kit but we'll see.

Oh @KingBrodd master of positivity, assure me that Seraphon will be out before 10th edition. Also Lustria supplement comes out this week and physical book for pre-order. Looks like I got some reading ahead.

Hoping with the rest of the Seraphon reveals we get a firmer timeline for them. Like "Arriving May" or something along that lines. Hopefully Ossiarch gets the Sylvaneth treatment with a unit or two with the obligatory hero. Soulblight is the one faction that suffers from a lack of foot heroes so I'm sure the players are chomping at the bit for their new model. Either way this has been an exciting news day without any lizard reveals!

Old World Brettonians and Tomb Kings? My oh my!

I'm hoping the narrative campaign post all Battletomes being updated wraps up the story in Ghur and really pushes the idea of the "Era of the Beast" with either a new army, more incarnates or neutral monsters. I'm cool with them using the narrative campaign to set up the next edition normally but this edition feels so light in the conflict currently going on in the realms as opposed to the Soul Wars or the Realmgate Wars. Reading through this editions books most of the narrative concerns the coming of Kragnos and the siege of Excelsis or it has to do with some other conflict not necessarily tied to Allarielle's Rite of Life or even Ghur. In the past 8(?) months I have read Dominion, Kragnos: Avatar of Destruction, Arkanaut's Oath, Gloomspite, The Hollow King, Scourge of Fate, Soulslayer, Godeater's Son, Hammers of Sigmar and now working on Bad Loon Rising. So far besides the first two on the list don't really concern themselves with this era besides mentioning. Hammers of Sigmar does say they are in the Era of the Beast and reference Anvilgard as lost to Morathi. The book however is concernred with a fight with Khorne and nothing necessarily beastial is talked about. It does set up the ever-looming threat of Korgas Khul returning. Long story short, I was really hoping for something special this edition like how we got Endless Spells and the focus on the Death Grand Alliance through 2nd. I'm just gonna hold out and say GW was holding everythign in reserve due to production issues/timing as a result of the impact of COVID.

Would be nice if they talk about the bases for the Old World. I know there's been a lot of discussion lately if the square bases are getting larger to accommodate the growing size of GW's scale. I'm hoping that we will see a Seraphon reveal but I think people are correct in the fact that the rest will wait until Adepticon, which can't come soon enough. At this rate we might see the whole Seraphon release in May. *fingers crossed*

I do like how GW designed all their dinosaurs with a different world in mind. Carnosaur is close to a theropod but not, bastiladon is close to a ankylosaurid but not. It helps future proof them for continuing advances in paleontology. I do hope the new Cold Ones are closer to what our current understanding of dinosaurs are like the new Raptadons without making them unrecognizable to the cold ones of the past. Only slightly related but if you want to see bad Dinosaur esque designs go see 65... cause boy howdy are they awful.

I know I am biased but I definitely doubt it based on the vagueness of the releases that are almost at hand. No info about the remaining Seraphon kits, nothing about a new GHB, new Seasons of War book. I'm hopeful that CoS gets released this year and has a great wave but this list has me skeptical at best.
