Basically my first list for this city.
Which problems did you find out mostly?
What do you think about:
- 1 Prince
- 6 Desolators
+ 1 Assasin general
+ 3x10 Shadow warriors
+ Durthu GhyrStrike
You have 2k as Total.
Desolators are more tanky than Durthu, much quicker as well and Sisters need prince to really work at their best.
Shadow warriros are a good unit, considering swapping a unit of chariots for them at some point potentially. But having played the warriors they aren't as amazing as some make out, and die very fast.

Heading of to the Bloodshed in the Shires event in 2 weeks, taking this

Battlemage (90)
- Spell: Lore of Leaves - Lifesurge (Living City Wizard)

3 x Scourgerunner Chariots (150)
6 x Desolators (600)
Extra Command Point (50)
Total: 1970 / 2000
Extra Command Points: 1
Allies: 0 / 400

Have had about 10 games so far, reasonable results, felt in most games barring a priority roll here and there. Liking the cities so far, lots of options but keep coming back to the Living city as my choice.

So had a blast at EGGS this weekend, some feedback below.
Positives
5 top games, all my opponents were great, plenty of space at the tables, scenery superb, mats on all.
Timings were fine, in fact possibly 3 hours is a touch too long, I finished in plenty of time every game.
Turn around was excellent, the next round went up very quickly and the final awards soon after last game.
Nice bonus touches with the ice creams, and goody bags.
Subway for lunch is always a great choice, really easy to grab and eat within the lunch time.
30 mins lunch was a good choice imo, still time to eat and you don't hang around too long.
Social, the number 1 for me at this event, relaxed chill out evening at the venue, chance to catch up and chat with guys I don't see at every event.
Even in the record heat, the fans around the room meant you could cool down
Bar prices as always were good, (for someone from the south at least)
Improvements
Get the pack out early, and don't change it on the day. This is super important to grow the event, let people know what they are getting early, and stick to it, changing the scoring system on the day seemed very odd.
Trophies, they were OK, but there are some really great trophies out there now and compared to what you are seeing at a lot of events they were a little lacking. Also pack had best in alliegence awards, which were not given out?
Spare player, I have never been to an AOS event (done over 100 now)that had a BYE, if I had travelled 6 hours to the event and then not gotten my 5 games I think I would not be happy.
Painting - Ritchie was the worthy winner (would have gotten my vote), but self nomination then judges choice? Little odd. Would have much preferred, judges nominations all displayed together, for everyone to easily look at. (They were so scattered I noticed a lot of players didn;t really bother walking around and looking, they missed out on some beautiful armies). Also 1,2,3 - painting is as much a part of the hobby as gaming, give it the same level of recognition that 99% of other events do.
Kick off at 9:30 on Sunday, gives an extra 30 mins for folks with long journey and still is not too bad for a sunday morning, knock rounds down to 2:45 as there are no realms. Gives an hour earlier Sunday and 45 mins Saturday.
Overall
I would def go back to EGGS, its one of my favourites on the calendar, but this year it felt a little rushed, and no growth from the year before. Some points to improve and it could grow to one of the 100 player events on the calendar.

I thought the Spire Stalker was a leader?

Do you have an entrants list as well?

Variety is key, so every suggestion here for an event. If they all use they same rules/packs life becomes dull. Mix and match throughoput the year.
Personal pref.
Realms yes, scape chosen by TO beforehand, spells 1 selected by To (Just as it saves time and is easy to remember)
Terrain/warscrolls use if they are present
Scoring, swiss, secondaries then Fav game/KP third tiebreak.
Properly painted (3 colours allows for some real borderline armies), everyone knows what properly painted means, if in doubt check with the TO
-
The errata changes the rule in the GHB, the Commentary then tells you not to use that for the woods during the battle. So you just deploy them as the rules on their warscroll etc tell you.

Honestly restart the rumour thread, condense know releases, and delete the whining as its posted. May be heavy handed but 100% needed. The nonsense posted by people here is mind boggling!

Amazing event, Marc stepped it up another level from year 1. Venue is great, food was good and on time, no issues with round timings.
Massive thanks to all our opponents, had 5 brilliant games. Shocked but so happy with the best army award, thanks to all who voted for the big dinosaurs!
Looking fwd to Blood Tithe 2020 already!

Spiders will be infesting Cardiff in January

That's the rules, I really dislike it when folks kick off because they don't want to abide by them. If you don't agree then leave, make your own forum and post what you like. Not moan and grumble here.
No one has to declare 'influences' etc. Sorry thats just plain rude, and insulting.

So RAW18 has been and gone, what an amazing event! Some feedback/review for those who couldn't attend or are looking at attending a future RAW
Venue- New location was better than the last, IMO, closer to the hotel more space between tables, areas for food and chilling out. Additional screens/displays to see what was happening. Plenty of things nearby for food/drink
Timings - Round timings were spot on this year, had 6 Great games, no need to rush, and could ingest the battleplans/rules beforehand.
Food - Both Days food was good, tbh a whole pizza day 2 was too much for me! Fruit/snacks was massively appreciated, tea urn as well, we were well taken care of.
You guys had some timing issues, but those were out of your control, not sure what else you could do to change that.
Battleplans and Aethermy. Loved the brewing mechanic, was a great addition to this years event. Battleplans worked really well, the best set of the 3 RAW's I have attended. Nightime activity was timed perfectly to not go on too late, but keep players together at the venue
Hobby - Simply Amazing, the level this year was well beyond any of the previous years. The decisions that the NEO's had to make was so difficult, don't know how you managed it!
Some small ideas/improvements. Think the guild phase/ leader really needed a neo/appointed person to guide. It can be difficult to find an organisers when players are left to do it themselves.

Yep that chaff is 100% needed, my spiders all died before they could do any damage at the weekend
-
I won a trophy!
....for last place
But got second place in best painted, which I am super chuffed about.
Honestly, pure spiderfang is increadibly hard work, my list is not even close to optimal, which makes it even harder. Played nurgle with 60 PB twice, which is just an uphill struggle. Think If i wrote a competative Spiderfang its a 2/3 wins army, which is good and my level of play, but it wont run with the big boys without some luck.
But it is one of the most fun armies I have ever played so would 100% recommend them to anyone thinking about it.
Priority in the last game I might have won that though.
Spiderfang seem more a drop in contingent in mixed destruction to be competative. 20, plus boss, plus arachnarok is a super killy combo. Add in chaff, artillery and another hitty unit and you have a solid list imo.

Scourgerunner Chariot, the most OP unit in the game?
in Cities of Sigmar
Posted · Edited by Paul Buckler
It will be dreadful, the army will traffic jam up, 75% be out of range, and then get locked in combat. Hero missions auto fail so easily.
I use 6, I would never go more than 9, they are that unweildy.
