Devon Destruction returns! You are invited to attend our largest Age of Sigmar tournament to date. Taking place at QECC Lower School, Crediton (a short journey from Kirton Games) over two days, we are inviting up to 60 players to join us for a fantastic pre-Christmas get together.

Rules - Battleplans will be drawn from the Pitched Battles 22-23 (season one unless season two has released by November 1st 2022) and announced by the TO at the start of the tournament. All matched play FAQ and documents, including balance sheets as of 1st November 2022 will be in play.

Your army should be selected following the rules as laid out in Pitched Battles 22-23.
Army lists MUST be submitted by email in a text format to store@kirtongames.com AND the Best Coast Pairings player app by Friday 25th November - the link to the BCP event will be emailed to participants on November 1st. Please also ensure you have at least one printed copy of your list on the day, and a second if you have not submitted your list in advance.
Your Models - Models MUST be painted for this event. In addition, all models MUST be appropriately based and WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get).

20:00-23:30 – Evening entertainment including mass participation Age of Sigmar Taskmaster, board games, a well stocked bar including beer on draft and food!

Players should have a fully painted army.
Your list should be supplied to judges via Best Coast Pairings in the week ahead of the event. Please also bring a copy along for your opponent. Please note all players should install the best coast player app ahead of the event to ensure that we can make things run as smoothly as possible. You should indicate all weapons choices, realm choices and artefact choices on your list. We recommend warscroll builder or the new AoS app when it is released).
Scoring:
5 point for army list submitted on time
20 points for major win
15 for minor win
10 for draw
5 points for leaving your army set up for judging
Facilities:Parking - there is adequate parking on site. The address is QECC lower school, Barnfield, Crediton EX17 3HX
We will offer snacks and light food on site throughout both days. We will have a fully licensed bar open on both days. Additionally, Tesco is a five minute drive away and town is a short walk. Please note that due to our licensing, only alcohol bought on site can be consumed on the premises.
There are a number of small hotels and b&bs across Crediton. We recommend Union Road Moto Velo. We will order food on the Saturday night and this includes fish and chips or curry options at the players expense (though we will organise).

Missions - Battleplans will be drawn from the Generals Handbook: Pitched Battles 2021 and announced by the TO at the start of each round. Matched play rules from White Dwarf magazine are valid. We are playing 'out of the book' with no house rules or variations.

Thanks to everyone for coming to Devon Destruction! It was a great weekend and you guys are fantastic! Extra thanks to Matt from Pro Painted Stuidos for some great painting trophies to go with our bespoke hammers. Congratulations to Mat Davies, the table one terminator!So tired now but equally, so grateful for every player who turned up and made it such a joy. Much needed and long overdue. We would love to get a triple figures event on next year so if you enjoyed it, spread the word and let’s try to smash 100 (all things permitting)!#SHOE

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Devon Destruction next weekend. Here's an email with key details ahead of time and a reminder of the pack. We have made one change to the pack in that each grand strategy can only be used once, so you'll need to make your way through five over the games.

Apologies Paul - TGA is sadly blocked on the computers at my new work so I've not seen this! I've now updated. Happy to say we've hit the same number of ticket sales as 2019's event - would be great to get past this if anyone else wants to get involved!

General Details -
Covid – We remain conscious of the health & safety of our customers and staff. We will follow any official Guidance and Legislation. We expect all participants to use the provided Hand Sanitiser regularly, and to respect the personal space of others. At this time we STRONGLY recommend but do not require, the continued use of Face Masks, but in particular we reserve the right to update this policy. The hall will be well ventilated so bring a jumper along! In the event of a Covid related postponement, tickets will be valid for a rescheduled event of a similar scale.

Points of units killed will be used for swiss draw. Hidden agendas as featured in the General's Handbook 2019 will be in place and these will be added after the tournament to assist in determining final standings.

House rules:
Armies should use the appropriate requirements from the General's Handbook 2019.
Allegiance abilities, artefacts and command traits will be used.
Variables:
1: As well as selecting artefacts for your army, you can also state your army is from one of the Realms (page 79 of Malign Sorcery book) and select an artefact there subject to normal restrictions. This must be recorded on your army list.
2: Endless spells are in use
3: Realm rules will be in use and will be shared prior to each game. This will take the form of a brief on screen. We will tell you which of the Realmscape features is in use ahead of the game. One specific spell from the realms rules for that realm will be in use.
4: Battleplans will be drawn from both the Core Rules and General's Handbook and will be announced at the tournament.
Facilities:Parking - there is £2 all day parking at St Saviours Way carpark which is a 3 minute walk to the shop.Food:There are plenty of food options in Crediton! We normally all meet in the Wetherspoons Pub, The General Buller, for Breakfast at 8am!
