Oof. That's harsh for a fairly expensive model.

Just wondering, is the new Bladegheist Revenant model special in any way rules-wise?
-
Trying something strange for a list. A little top heavy, but I think it's fairly scary with the Realm Spells.
Basically...
Nagash
Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon w/ Ethereal Amulet.
Necromancer
30 Reapers.
3 Battleline.
Portal.
Was originally using 4 Morghasts, but an Ethereal Zombie Dragon sounds just as good.

If you can somehow take first turn against Nagash, you can try betting your entire hand Destiny Dicing Hand of Dust with the Changeling.
And using Kairos Fateweaver to cause Nagash to fail his Unbind.
If it works, hilarious. If it doesn't, there's a dead Changeling.

Started Bonesplitterz lately, though kinda unsure how to make my boxes of boyz.
I've got enough to make 4 Big Stabbas. But the 32 left, I don't know about.
What's the general competitive choice for Savage Orruks? Regulars or Morrboyz? Tempted to go Arrowboyz too but... that's an expensive investment.

Portals have just been FAQed so that only one spell can be used through it per turn.
Might put a damper on plans if people are relying too much on it.

Was thinking of something like this.
Nagash
2 Morghast Archai
30 Skeletons
5 Grave Guard
10 Skeletons
Necromancer
6 Spirit Hosts
Umbral Spellportal
Not particularly mobile, and I'm not sure about bringing in the Portal. Spirits are the suicide unit, Skeletons for Objectives, Nagash and Morghasts to center with the Spellportal when big N is in position.

Probably not super competitive but....
Kairos Fateweaver + Purple Sun might be an interesting combo. Guaranteeing a kill on isolated heroes maybe? Plus whatever second spell he could cast.

I thought Battalions have the Keyword of everything shared within.
So Plaguetouched is still both Everchosen and Nurgle because every unit in it has the Keyword of Nurgle. Hasn't that always been the case?

Curseling stealing and recasting Endless Spells at 42" away is possible now it seems.

Have him in a plaguetouched with Glottkin is powerful. Won 1st place at London GT. Think the guy had 40+10+10 marauders as battleline- now you can only take 20 min, so it wouldn't work with points (and plaguetouched is 60pts more now) but sure you can jostle around and fit it all in!
Could work still. Get rid of 2 squads of the marauders, replace them with small squads of Chaos Warriors instead, and get rid of the Sorcerer Lord.
So the list can go something like:
Archaon
Glottkin
Lord of Blights
Harbinger of Decay
40 Marauders
5 Chaos Warriors
5 Chaos Warriors
Plaguetouched Warband
Missing one unit so.... maybe Chaos Spawn.

So I dont know where to post this cause it's a question I have between Slaves to Darkness and Tzeentch adn chaos in general.
I'm planing to start Chaos after summer and I was thinking of Battleforce Tzentch because I love the models and have silver tower so I have Gaunt Summoner, Ogroid and Pink horror Herald to use as heroes. This plus the battleforce gives me 1500 points with 4 heroes and 5 magic casting. This is fine.
The thing is I will absolutely buy Archaon. I think it's an awesome model and a way to have something for every chaos army if I wanna go later for another. And here's my doubt, if maybe Archaon doesn't fit with Tzeench or if maybe I should go instead of that Battleforce for two Start collecting Slaves to Darkness.
So I think Archaon works well with every army but will it go well with Tzeench?? with him I would go 7 magic spells for turn if I put all heroes.
I like slaves to darkness but I have more than 2k from stormcast and I think they play similar way. Tzeenech has a lot of magic and I think with archaon could be fun. The other armys I have a bit "similar" is Sylvaneth with 2 treelord, 2 wizards and Alarille that go 7 magic spells too.
I've had some success with Archaon + Fateweaver if against other big Monsters.
Main problem really is the lack of Command Abilities to take advantage of for Tzeentch Allegiances.

Can't go wrong with Sayl + anything really.
Flying Mammoth.
Had a fun game where that happened against a flying Dread Saurian.

Think of Morghasts as Combat heroes. They buff nothing, but 4 attacks with their 3+, 3+, -2, 3 damage profile is something that not many heroes at 110 points have.
Could be better, yes. But they're a nice deterrent I guess? No one likes getting charged by Morghasts unless they have saves after saves.
