This special rule „ravenous brutes“ was in the preview for the sub faction and mentioned in combination with the „mest fist mawtribe“.

Are you sure it is an armywide allegiance ability for all ogors?

btw : what about base sizes? The old models are still sold with square bases

look, it’s there in the middle of the allegiance abilities list.

the models on squares get packaged with rounds too. My Ironguts did.

I feel like these styles of lists are similar to Ironjawz but without the speed that large groups of infantry need to make it anywhere. How do you cover ground with this?

I feel like having 8" move is pretty damn good. It's not going to be as fast as mighty destroyers'd gore gruntas or mawkrushas, but not much is?

Dont know what you want from me lol. Compared to Ironjawz, we dont need warchanters to get damage 2, if our characters die, battleshock immunity still continues, and our units can still kick the ****** out of almost anything.

  3. Okay, thoughts on this list?

And all these point changes also seem so low-effort. The Butcher and the Slaughtermaster are the perfect examples for this. The Slaughtermaster has everything which the Butcher has + the great Cauldron. Why are they the same points? I have the feeling the person who adjusted the points didn't even really look at the warscrolls before changing anything.

I don't really understand the reasoning behind these changes. All the changes seem so passionless to me. Like someone had to do the job to write the rules, who didn't want to write them or who realised shortly before the Deadline that he had to write a book. 😞

Edit: The Command Traits seem to be pretty interesting to me

I guess we hope for reasonable adjustments to our points down the line?

  5. Command Traits

    Tyrant
    1. Furious Guzzler: at the start of your hero phase you can heal d3 wounds to your general if they're eating
    2. Prodigious Girth: add 2 to general's wounds characteristic
    3. Killer Reputation: general can take a 2nd big name. No duplicates.
    4. Mighty Bellower: enemy units who fail battleshock within 6" of this general, an additional d3 models flee.
    5. An Eye for Loot: the one previewed. RR hits and wounds in melee vs enemy w/ artefact
    6. Crushing Bulk: general is treated as a monster for Trampling Charge

    Butcher
    1. Questionable Hygiene: subtract 1 for hit rolls for enemies within 6" of this general
    2. Herald of the Gulping God: whilst this general is eating, friendly units wholly within 12" dont need to take battleshock tests.
    3. Growling Stomach: subtract 2 from enemy bravery within 12" of this general whilst they are hungry.
    4. Gastromancer: this general knows all spells from the Lore of Gutmagic
    5. Rolls of Fat: add 2 to general's wounds characteristic
    6. Spell-eater: previewed one where you can get an extra spell for dispelling endless spells

These are the ones I could be bothered to type out. Not so fussed on the BCR stuff but it's in the pic

  6. Super excited to see what our battalions do, and also dont forget, we still have bits from our mawtribes that we haven't seen yet: artefacts, command abilities. There should even be generic gutbusters and BCR artefacts.

Theres mount traits, which should salvage the monsters. Also unseen command traits and our 2 spell lores!

Ok, so the Tyrant. Obviously choosing big names we already knew. No idea what a garrison is. Feel like Fateseeker or Deathcheater are gonna be my go-to's. I don't know what his weapon loadout means for the old tyrant weapons we know and love, hoping they stick around and this is just a warscroll to let you play straight out of the box. The command ability now seems to be unconditional. He can die and it still continues. Amazing! @Nubl0 you're very wrong haha. Slap it onto a 12 man unit of gluttons and its 48 unshiftable wounds.

The Ironblaster is so very disappointing. Was hoping for flat damage 6 at the very least. Maybe the underguts command ability will make them passable. Oh well.

    Leadbelchers we have seen already.

Gluttons. A lot of changes here. We no longer get our reroll wound rerolls when we charge. Bummer. Our lookout gnoblars now dont save against mortal wounds. Beast banners lost their poor ability and got an awesome useful reroll charge rolls ability. Ironfists got the expected unmodified change. Paired weapons got a change I love in built-in exploding 6s! Pity about losing the reroll 1s. But we hit on 3s so... not so much a problem.

Ahhh. I misinterpreted this. I thought you add 2 dice for a monster. But you add 2+ to dice rolls for the charge roll. Now I understood.

I think you had it right the first time. On the stream they mention you can deal up to 12 mortal wounds on the charge if you're super lucky. If it was +2 to charges then it would be 14 MW at most.

This does raise the question whether bonuses to charge rolls increase the number of dice we roll. Probably does, pretty cool!

Are there any good looking alternative models for the Yetis?

I think the crypt horror/flayer/vargheist kit would be great. Models are on 50mm bases and roughly same size.

Use vargheist heads, the furry back piece and crypt horror arms with big bone weapons.

    Great looking model mate!

    Whats the base size?

Do you guys think Greasus/Overtyrant have a role in this? Would hate to see that awesome model go to waste!

There was a part in the preview where they showed flavour text about an Overtyrant big as a Gargant. Is that a hint of a new model perhaps?

    It's a 105×70mm base. Thanks!
