  1. Hey Everyone! It has been a while since I posted an actual blog post, but today I wanted to bring you the lore for my custom Sylvaneth character, Miley Cypress. As you can guess she is loosely based on the pop star Miley Cyrus, but with my own Mortal Realms twist! I recently completed the conversion and had to immediately write up her lore and share it with you all here. If you want to see a hint of this character's creation check out this bit of Tayrathi Lore. As always, I hope you enjoy it! View the full article
  2. Hey Everyone! Recently Doug over at the 2+ Tough channel ran a lore competition where he had people write a narrative story within the realm of Age of Sigmar. His Patreon patrons read and voted to determine some lucky winners to have their stories featured on an episode of Doug’s channel. I didn't make the cut sadly, but congratulations to all the winners and thanks to Doug for running the contest! Today I want to share my submitted entry for you all to enjoy. The lore piece features, as you might have guessed, the one and only Tayrathi! Tayrathi having had and her cult forced to abandon their Temple home in Ghyran, has made a long exodus to a potential settlement outside the Free City of Anvilguard. The tale picks up as Tayrathi is finalizing the terms of her cults settlement with members of the cities ruling council. Also, check out the maps below of Tayrathi's journey and enjoy the story after the break. Happy Hobbying! View the full article
  3. Hey Everyone! We are well underway in this year’s tournament season with the upcoming Adepticon looming vast on the horizon. While “con crud” is a real thing and we all do our best to come away from an event without catching any illness it is always a threat be it flu, cold, it otherwise. While there isn’t a need to panic or cancel plans due to what we hear on the news it is always a good idea to refresh yourself on how to keep you and your health safe while attending a large event. Today I want to help with the refresh and list out the best ways I know of to keep Nurgles blessing at bay. View the full article
  4. Hey Everyone! I recently finished painting my latest army project for The Age of Sigmar and I could not wait to share it her eon my blog. That project was a Hedonites of Slaanesh army themed to be from the realm of Hysh. Today I want to take a moment and show off the army and talk a bit about it and the story behind it. If you want to get the in-depth story of H’Ka’ty and the army feel free to check out the narrative post I wrote back when I began this project months ago. Check out the Narrative blurb and pictures after the break! View the full article
  5. Hey Everyone! I am very excited to show off the latest art I commissioned of my custom leader for my Daughters of Khaine army, Tayrathi Bloodsilver. I am very lucky to have an amazing and supportive wife who is also an exceptionally skilled artist. I commissioned her to draw Tayrathi in her own style and I could not be more thrilled with the result. I really wanted to have a piece that was more representative of the kitbashed models I have created of the character for use in my games and my wife managed to blend her chibi/anime style with Warhammer in a great way! Today is simply a short post to show off this new artwork as well as point you towards my wife’s Instagram page to see more of her artwork. Happy Hobbying! View the full article
  6. Hey Everyone! I hope you have been well since my last blog post. I thas been quite a while, but I can assure I have been busy hobbying! While I won’t go into detail about everything that went on, I do want to talk about a recent Warhammer 40,000 Dark Angel army I speed painted, and I am quite proud of how it turned out in such a short amount of time. This project was a long time coming as about a year ago I decided to reprime all my Dark Angels to give them a fresher paint job using all my current skills. For some reason, the project died quickly and they sat in a box until I got that itch to knock them out. Today I wanted to share how I painted the army so quickly while also getting back on the content train with the post! View the full article
  7. Hey everyone! Today I want to share a game with you all that was taught to me by my grandfather well before I knew anything about wargaming. In hindsight this was likely a tactic to help me entertain myself while visiting my grandparents, but it truly was my first wargame and after showing a few folks at a recent event, who really enjoyed it, I wanted to take some time to teach the game here on my blog (and possibly on my YouTube channel at a later date) for you all to enjoy. I present to you the rules for the M&M Wargame! View the full article
  8. Tyrion, a god of light, leader of the Asur, descendent of Aenarion, twin of Teclis, beloved of Alarielle, and a once Avatar of Khaine. Tyrion has been a key character in The World That Was shaping the destiny of an entire race and has been slowly been making moves in The Mortal Realms. He fell from grace during the events of The End Times only to be saved, body and soul, by his brother Teclis. While Tyrion would fail to stop the ending of The World That Was he would retain his mantle of Avatar of Light and be make it through the chaos portal and awake in The Mortal Realms alongside his brother. They awoke as the gods of Light with their connection was even deeper as Tyrion would find himself blind, but able to see through his brother’s eyes. His plans are still a bit of a mystery in The Age of Sigmar, but he has a deep history and has helped to trap Slaanesh there is no doubt his power will shape the realms in the future. He is a strong character and his story is worth telling. View the full article
  9. Hey Everyone! This past weekend I attended one of the greatest Age of Sigmar Narrative events in the world, Holy Havoc alongside my good friend Matt, who was bringing his Kharadron Overlords. It was a doubles format with lots of great hobbyists putting their effort on display as we battled on the best tables I have ever seen. I won’t be doing a blow by blow of every battle, but I will touch on some of the great narrative moments that happened to Tayrathi and her Daughters of Khaine over the weekend. There were a number of great moments that happened as the dice were rolled over the five games View the full article
  10. Hey Everyone! This weekend will see the narrative team event Holy Havoc taking place south of Chicago, IL. My Daughters of Khaine will be teaming up with my good friend Matt and his Kharadron overlords as we tell our narrative “Unwanted Debt” over the weekend. The event is having us bring Warlords to lead our forces and while I am bringing my latest variant of Tayrathi, High Priestess of Khaine, Matt has crafted his character Matni Stonegavel, Sky-Baron. Today I wanted to share the mini-bios we created for our characters in preparation for the event. Happy Hobbying! View the full article

  14. Hey Everyone! This weekend Realms at War: Uprising takes place in Cambridge, England. I had the privilege to attend this event last year and it remains one of my favorite Warhammer Events that I plan to get back to one day, but this year I am watching all the narrative fun from afar. Although despite not being able to join in the fun at the event I have taken the story and theme for this year's event as an excuse to continue growing the narrative of my Tayrathian Cult. In today’s post, I run through the lore and information for my Regiment of Renown as well as the general list I would take if I was able to attend. You will also see plenty of pictures of my Regiment as well as the custom heroes I painted up specifically for the event. Be sure to check out the event pack as well for all the details and see what the event itself is all about! View the full article
