It really is amazing how often this needs to be said.

All minis made by GW are initially cast in resin so they can be painted for the rule books and box art.

The rumour picture is clearly resin, bur that does not mean the final mini will be.

That was true for metals (given I have held the great weapon Wood Elf lord from 2005 in my hand which is resin).

Plastic models are sculpted in CAD.  But lets have this amazingly said more often.  Cause it never hurts to be snide on a forum.

might still be elves and just tying the lore closer to eachother... he said hopefully and not really believing it himself.

I would love for it to be Aelves and then we could built the AoS lore really into the history of the Aeldari :)

I kind of got the feeling that that some of the more generic "faction" names like Wanderers, Dispossessed, and Free Peoples where just holding places for legacy models. It still might be the case for some(I'm pretty sure Kharadron and Fyreslayers are the future of Dwarfs in AoS),

I worry that too.  And with the rumours of new "BIGGER BETTER BADDER UNCUT" Space marines I think GW might make them a lot like Sigmarittes and make them play the same.

  5. I treat it as "half a sword/spear tip, banner pole, etc", those don't count cause you can abuse that.

I expect head to head sort of sight.

It literally came up last game with setra on one side of a Temple of Skulls and his caster on the other.  "I can see the top of the banner pole so i can see him" to which I responded "great, I'm going to make all my standard bearers have 48" high standards so they can always have Mystic Shield cast on the unit"

Arguments like this always come down to being reasonable.

I think GW would be missing out on a huge sales opportunity if they didn't release god-specific gors and tie them all together with the 'GOR' keyword. It's not even much of a stretch; we've had slaangors, khorgors (sp?), and pestigors in the past. Not to mention the success of the current tzaangors... gorgeous models and I know in my neck of the woods they are selling like hot gor) cakes.

The problem is there is a difference in Brayherd and Gor as keywords.  I think Tzaangors should have had Brayherd as a keyword and you would have seen more sales.  While they are selling like made it would just be a bit of nice love for us old beastmen players who played god-specific lists in 6th ed.

Besides, I just sold my beastmen army. They better not make them great!

But they are good?  Gorthor adds a lot of 30 Raiders, Gors can be blenders and a couple Jabberslythes will deal with a lot.

As a horde they effectively counter the small model elite,. but the games become 4+ hours.

This bodes well that models and rules could already be in advanced stages...

That was posted to FB a while ago.  I'm hoping Beastmen get some attention.
