I was trying out yesterday slapping a Frostlord on Thundertusk in the middle of a unit of ironguts and moving them up the field together.
He had the range to attack over them, and he also had the 3" giving out always strike last if you didn't charge. It worked out pretty well

Someone will do a full reveal of the book tomorrow almost certainly.

I also suspect we'll see a list of prayers for the Huskard, beyond just the two on his scroll.
We've already seen the one that brings yeti's back

The Thundertusk is uh, kind of bad now.
It is slow, doesn't do much damage in melee and really doesn't do a huge amount shooting on average either.I still think the Stonehorn will be solid, losing run and charge sucks, but the mount traits might make up for it.
Basic ogres look really damn solid

I am deeply excited for anything that can buff my beastclaw up, having other ogres in there is just gravy.
I do hope that the Huskard on Thundertusk becomes a real priest -
Did they go last chance to buy before the book, or the same week it went up for purchase?

I mean at least theres a new tyrant. Meanwhile my BoC haven't gotten a single thing, other than the underworlds warband which came otu a year after the BoC book. Still have to deal with the Shaggoth that doesn't fit the other dragon ogors...
You did get the Tzeentch stuff at least, but yeah I get where you are coming from on this.

Im dying to read this book in general haha. Been waiting years to read this book, ever since BCR hooked me into the hobby around when there book came out. Definitely eager to see the synergy and especially the long awaited allegiance abilities. Also to see if Iron fists in general will not be the worst thing. lol
Ironfists will get better even if the only change is unmodified save roll of a 6 works.
But I wonder how much stuff will get changed entirely, I am super sad to see the old resin butcher shown off in the article, I was hoping they would replace that awful model.I am fine with all the old plastic models, I just want a plastic butcher!

What is the wording of the Stormcast/Ironjaws mount traits that will let us take it on a special character?
Or is it just that the limit for special characters is only no Artifacts of power and command traits? -

If you're willing to scratch through Google translate, nothing has changed from the current FAQ to the new one in Japanese.
It also says May on the top of the FAQ, yet the front page lists it as having an update.

They didn't get anything in the other languages so I think there's nothing new.
It is listed as having an update, and it is one of the newest books.
Will wait and see if it switches over at some point today
I don't think there will be point changes, but there very well might be rules changes/tweaks.
I am pretty sure they said Slannesh was too new to get point changes yet -

For a second I thought that we'd also have some cost updates but someone accidentaly uploaded the Chinese pdf in the english section. Well... at least we didn't get any nerf?
The current FAQ that switched to english is still the one from May, so we need to wait to see what the actual July update looks like

They do a pretty decent job in laying it out, I imagine there will have to be an errata on the terrain maybe? -

This has almost always been the case, it doesn't help that their profile hasn't aged well but that singular drawback hacks like 60+ points off their value on it's own.
Pretty much yeah, the last time I used them aside from in silly games was the first GHB

If Gargants didn't fall over rolling doubles I would totally consider taking them

Q: If a warscroll or set of allegiance abilities has a rule that contradicts the core rules, can I use it? For example, Lord Kroak has a rule that allows him to attempt to cast Celestial Deliverance up to three times in the hero phase, but this contradicts the core rule that you can only attempt to cast a spell once per turn.
A: Warscrolls and allegiance abilities take precedence over the core rules that appear before the core rules for battleplans, warscrolls and allegiance abilities. This allows you to do things that would not normally be allowed. In the case of Lord Kroak, his rule means he can attempt to cast Celestial Deliverance up to three times in the same turn.
FYI, this doesn't let you ignore the GHB rules, they aren't even in the core book and are not core rules. They are specifically matched play rules changes.- 1

I could 100% see a book with a bunch of the human/Dispossessed in it.
Unlike a lot of forces, they actually feature very prominently in the fluff (Especially the Malign Portents stories).
There are certainly humans in the realms, but I think they are trying to figure out a way to release them.
A lot of older factions are destined for the garbage though.
-
The new video talks about Moonclan, Spiderclan and a few other beliefs.
It seems to be all the existing Gobbo factions and trolls
-
God I want some new destruction stuff, it is hard to get excited to play a lot of those factions vs some of the newer ones

I am not seeing anything in that faq that explains anything. Also worth noting it is ultimately up to your opponent/TO.
Locally everyone builds out of the app.
Forgeworld's rules are kind of a hot mess, this page doesn't even have the proper points for the toads (Which went up the same points as plaguebearers) and I can't even find the document for it now since they seem to be altering the documents on the site for the new AOS.

That is the thing, I like the hold objective cards for the free easy glory. But I do see how you could build a deck without it.
I'll need my undead cards first -
I don't have my undead cards yet, I was a nice person and gave mine to my friend since his got delayed.
So I'll have my undead cards later this week

I think one of the best cards from the ploy section of the orruk cards for anyone to use(And big warbands love it) is Dual strike.
You count one model, as two for supporting. Which is huge for bloodbound and not getting hammer attacks.
Also for low, but reliable damage you can take Low blow - Equipment
You treat both hammers and swords as successes.
Shadeglass darts is another I like, 3 range, 3 dice (On swords) and 1 damage but +1 damage on a crit
Distraction is another, it's like sidestep but you target an enemy.
Daemonic weapon is great for one of your little peon troops as a surprise. (Equipment)
2 dice (Hammers) Damage 3, but when you attack with it, take a damage.
So you equip them with it, throw them in and not care if they die anyway
And last but not least, the ploy stay on your feet.
If you have a model die adjacent to another friendly model, you roll a dice and on shields or a crit they take no damage and live.
