  1. It's how big they are compared to the normal skeletons. They are quite chunky for being the same size, which means if they are 25s they would be scaled down!

I don't want 32s at all. 25s are way more useful.

Accounts from NOVA is one thing, but if GW have verified that's great. Just wondering where that's been mentioned.

  2. 8 hours ago, Sandor said:

I know people don't like the mortek guard being on a 25mm base, but this was confirmed at the Nova Open as they were on display.

But the pictures from NOVA look like 32s. No way they are smaller than skeleton warriors to have so much room on 25mm bases. Where did this come from?

    Make a weekend of it?

If you are travelling form out of town, there are a number of options for accommodation in Wellington that are reasonably priced. A number of Backpackers are located in central Wellington for about $25-$30 a night. There are also cheap hotels, though it’s recommended that these are booked well in advance, as price fluctuates. Sites such as www.wotif.co.nz,  www. trivago.co.nz and www.nz.hotels.com are good places to compare prices and find somewhere to stay.

You might like to check out the current WW1 exhibitions at Te Papa and the Dominion War Museum while you are there.

Call to Arms 2016 - Age of Sigmar

  13. I'm finding it useful for keeping track of colour scheme 'recipes'. Useful after breaks painting you forget what colours you use. My Empire army is a testament to that - half the army' bases are much lighter as I was using a different technique.

As I come to replace paint pots though, the inventory will become useful!

  14. Info from Warhammer Fest, C/- @Atia and their wonderful rumour blog:

    Quote

    Specialist Games:

    - Blood Bowl. The first 2 teams are finished. First six teams will be Humans, Orks, Dwarfs, Elfs, Skaven and Nurgle.
    - First expansion will have 7 new teams, Star Players and League Rules.
    - They may do 3D pits.
    - Adeptus Titanicus. 2nd SG. Set during the HH, Titans vs Titans. 8mm. Infantry, tanks, fliers will come later via expansions. Xenos too.
    - The Warlord is finished.
    - Necromunda and Mordheim confirmed. Keep in mind there is alot of stuff to do, they can't release all at once.

    AoS:

    - They admit they have done errors with the AoS launch. They want to improve, and listen to feedback.
    - They are really motivated and already have new story arcs for the next 4-5 years.
    - Sylvaneth will get their battletome. Alarielle's beetle looks soooo cute.
    - Summer will focuse on the Realm of Life.
    - Sylvaneth, Slaanesh, Tzeentch, Aelfs, Skaven, ... there is so much cool stuff to come!
    - Forgeworld will support AoS, 40k and 30k. New Fimir character done.
    - The Khorne dragon is done, will get a lord as rider. Rivals Smaug!!
    - They want to give Chaos Dwarfs and Fimir a new spin and place in AoS.
    - More AoS Character series stuff one the way!
    - Warhammer Quest is supposed to get future support, even more if it sells well.
    - From what I heard, people really really enjoyed the game there.

    Middle-earth:

    - The first bunch of releases is set around the third Hobbit Movie. Dwarfs with Dain on pig are already finished.
    - They will re-release older stuff alongside new stuff.
    - New awesome plastic buildings are done. You also can use them "for Mordheim or AoS".
    - They have no rights for the Silmarillion (sadly. yet?).
    - It may be rebranded to "Middle Earth SBG" later on, but for now, it will still be branded as Hobbit, but include both LotR and Hobbit ranges!
    - They are pretty enthusiastic. They got four years to prove they can do this.
    - All the movie stuff will get done. Can't wait for the Nâzghul!
