They are poorly executed models. We all discussed that already. Teclis is an Ugly model with barely any visual center, most units are top heavy beyond and reason, the cows have paper thin legs and huge montain shoulders and the Hamerers are the worst ofender using "that thing" they call hats.
And dont give me the "But elves always use tall hats!" There is no amount of centuries and balance a elf use live to use an entire yak as a hat.
Heck even the mage you use as a profile picture was screwed up. Just as Teclis, great art but GW was like "Hey, it is looking good, lets Lumineth it up!" and gave him that horrible body proportion and pose to "fix" it up.
Dawnriders are great models but to me (and this is pretty subjective) are way generic compared to old Dragon Blades with their unique Horse masks.
Eltharion is amazing but his looks are his own and n one share his visual identity and that sucks.

Been thinking about it but i am not quite sure if it is a second wave or if it will have a different keyword. Like followers of Slaneesh but with a diferent creed or something.

im playing from 5th edition and im super glad GW is going outside the normal bounderies for stuff. I love the cows and the lumineth look. For me kharadron overlords, idoneth deepkin and even this take on slaanesh is something i like. I can understand that people dont like these faces but i love it for the psychic wierd stuff it is. Its creative and fits the name of the models. Somethings ugly is a good thing.
Just a feeling but something people just need to learn to let go of some old stuff and go with the new flow of things and think a bit outside of there own box. Took me 2 years to get used to stormcast and had to bury my whfb love. But once you let go of the old stuff you learn there is place for newer vibes and views of models we know for years.

I understand all that but try and hear me out on this one.
Take for instance Seraphon. Lizardmen players kept their models and got new lore, and now are starving for a reamke of really outdated models, like the Saurus on Cold ones.
And now for the new models, Seraphon are now Spanish Conquistador Badgermen. You see, they arent reaaaly lizardmen anymore, they are Seraphon so we decided to redesign then. Oh, by the way, we squatted the older line. All the 40 kits, but hey, here is 5 new ones! What, arent you Seraphon players happy? You wanted new models, right? Cmoooom dont get attached to old stuff, embrace the new!
Sure, some people love our new Badger Overlords, but the people that came for the Dinossaurs now are gona listen

"Well the Slann have really bad memories, that is what the kinda remember now"
"They are still Seraphon, if you look at it, Mole Riders are clearly a callback into Saurus on Cold ones, they even have spears!"
And the worse part? They will listen it from a lot of HYPOCRITE players who play armies that are pretty much Warhammer Fantasy stuff remade as it was, pretty much like the new Chaos Warriors.
"The armies i dont play, i want inovation! For mine i just want modern models. "
(By the way GW, please give Seraphon some new non badger related models)

I do. I have been playing Phoenix Temple and former Order Draconis since AoS 1.0! I also know about the usual proxing Elves on CoS, but is a shame that the lore of Dragon Princes taking order Vanguard as an elite force or the Eldritch Council is gone and wont move foward like the new Dark Elves cities.

You and others are free to love Lumineth. I am happy for you.
But it drives me insane to listen from the "spiritual sucessor " and the "embrace the new" crowd while they play with their confortable modern take of stuff they enjoy.
I am the kind of guy that for instance dont play Slaneesh but i am excited for those who do. I really hope for Wanderers and Dispo players to get cool armies as well.
But oh boy GW dropped the ball with High Elves and now what is left is to hope that Tyrion and co wont look stupid.

I see Sigvald and Chaos Warriors redone and it makes me more angry with GW about the ****** that is Lumineth.
Dark Elves got to keep their models and now new lore going and High Elves got squatted and replaced by freaking garbage cows.
Look at this new models! People are excited, people are happy! Sigvald is not wearing a @#%¨& racoon hat! Chaos Warriors are not half fish!
It is just stuff people love redone with modern tecnology!
If they were going to take a ****** at High Elves they could have had the courtesy of keeping the old subfactions in CoS!

Not quite. The relation bettwen Teclis/Tyrion and the elves we had before Lumineth was never quite clear. It was infered that the COS elves are the "few souls" Sigmar found when he got to the mortal realms, not the Slanesh ones the Elven Gods extracted.
We are left with weired questions like "Phoenix Temple are Lumineth?" Because acording to their lore, they are from Hysh. So were they extraed from Slanesh or not?
I belive there will be a massive retcon at some point to explain this mess.

Your beef with Anvilguard is the fact that the city may be gone or the rules?
Because we just dont know anything about the rules at this point. I doubt they will get scrapped. If anything they are going to improve then with a new named.
Now, if the problem is lorewise, then you have to get used to the lore moving foward.

Not trying to steer the topic in another direction, but about the prices situation, i think this time was diferent.
There is usually a comotion on every price hike but this time i had a diferent feel about it. Like as it reached the limit for a lot of people, i dont know. Maybe is because of the pandemic, or the fact that my local currency became worthless over the last year, but the amount of stuff people were buying was really reduced and even people on the hype for the latest releases bought less/ didnt buy.
Maybe it is because i was priced out, maybe not but i think the reactions were diferent this time around.

What drive me insane about Lumineth is see stuff like Chaos Warriors and Gloomspite gitz, that are just remakes of older stuff and think about the wasted potential of new High Elves.
Say what you will but the High Elves aestethic was unique to warhammer and now it is just gone. It would be fine if the older models had been absorved by Cities of Sigmar (lorewise they were Hallowheart forces) and Lumineth be its own thing.
As it is, Lumineth are considered boring by those that want something new and too Alien by those that just want a remake.

Yeah, on paper i cant figure out what is the deal with the Alarith. Lumineth have slow sturdy battleline and a even slower and sturdier elite and i cant figure out what is the unit in the army that actually is suposed to kill stuff.

While the Rank and file is part of the Lumineth identity as skilled soldiers, it is also a bit of the reason the kits are so limited. There is little room to make the models more unique within the kits itself.

I hasve been assembling the Lumineth kits from the starter box and been really missing those bunch of extra bits. It is kinda sad to not have options like older kits used to have.
Also miss those cool bits to add to bases.

Unfortunelly, despite requests from the local community, GW shippment options are prohibitly bad for my country so even tho i wanna use the voucher, is a no go for me =/
