Got beaten up badly in the past by executioners. Also love the look of the new black guard models and they cost 20 points less. Take out the Medusae and the second sorceress and you have exactly 1000 points but also plan for a second build which includes executioners instead of the guard and sisters of slaugther instead of witch elves & hag, also 1000 points. Maybe doing a headswap for the executioner heads

Thanks I simply dry brushed them and afterwards darkened down again the edges of the leather with some coats of thinned Agrax Earthshade
-
Thanks a lot the base is simply painted with steel legion drab
-
Played mostly against other combat armies. It requires thoughtful play but then they really hack the enemies into small pieces
will struggle for sure against shooting armies, due to the low saves

Thanks a lot used some Doombull Brown mixed with a lot of Agrax on a white base coat for the base tone and then 2-3 layers of Agrax for the details, with some highlights of Chadian or kislev Flesh in between for highlights Looking forward to your cygor, mine will show up on Monday

Exactly, he rolled snake eyes and couldn't run far enough. The bloodthirster's arguments stuck him in the back

OSL means on surface lightning, like the lava reflecting on the stones. Used following tutorial, maybe you can translate it. Basically you drybrush dark red, then orange, yellow and finally little bit of white. Each layer a little smaller and further away from the lava. You can also try to smoothen the transition of the lava colors by using some glaces like red or better yellow

Might be around 1.200 points, they are so cheap ?
-
Many thanks, good to hear that. Usually I am to lazy to paint the banner ?
-
Many thanks didn't plan much blending, simply mixed shades with normal colors 1:1 and they really nicely layered into each other, even though the previous color was already dry
-
Thanks a lot! Just painting, mostly glazes and shades, starting with the bright ones and then adding the darker ones

Thanks a lot that are regular shattered dominion Bases from GW, nothing modified and really quick to paint. Just some white, Oxide and then green Glaze for the spooky liquids on the ground
-
Many thanks, good to know the effort was worth it

I guess I took them from Skullcrushers, they have the coolest helmets so far organical heads are really strange, also did not like them...

Fantastic! How did you do the excellent bases for these?

The Howdah was easily done with a lot of tooth picks and some beastmen/slaves to Darkness bits. Really no rocket science
