Oh thats Cool! Really dig those hero bases. I'm currently doing a Chaos army with lava bases. Any chance for a close up?

Here we go  your model and bases look great, maybe adding some OSL on the rocks close to the lava?

Thanks! I think you are a more patient man then me because your transition from black to yellow is much smoother. Als you brought some spots up to light which I will be copy-ing

But what is OSL?

OSL means on surface lightning, like the lava reflecting on the stones. Used following tutorial, maybe you can translate it. Basically you drybrush dark red, then orange, yellow and finally little bit of white. Each layer a little smaller and further away from the lava. You can also try to smoothen the transition of the lava colors by using some glaces like red or better yellow
